  1. I just bought a shower caddy for this reason as lack of shelf space. I have the hook/hanger - which I got for $1
  2. We were on the Caribbean Princess last month and bought a week pass to the thermal suite for 2 and it was 150 total. Totally worth it love the saunas and the heated lounge chairs. Sorry unsure on the santuary pricing. Have fun!!
  3. I did a similar excursion with Holland America 2 ys ago - it was a night out in Instanbul - dinner and entertainment (belly dancing etc). This was the highlight of the cruise. The food and entertainment was wonderful and just to experience the culture was fabulous. I highly recommend trying it!! Enjoy your cruise. We are headed to the med on Tuesday going out of Rome doing a 10 day on Equinox through the Greek islands. Cheers
  4. St Thomas is fabulous!! Go to St. John this is the best spot.
  5. I use a US credit card for my onboard account - because of the exchange rates.
  6. I guess I would have to say Venice and Amalfi Coast of Italy and Istanbul - beautiful places. I may change my mind come September as I am off on a 10 Greek Isle Tour Vicki:)
  7. 2 on Princess 3 on Holland 3 on Royal 1 on Celebrity 1 upcoming on Celebrity in Sept So if my adding is correct 10 will be completed this October and hoping to soon try a Riverboat cruise maybe next spring!!
  8. Hi Mike, What I am told it is the bump out mid ship balconies. I am trying one out in Sept on the Equinox in the Med, they are bigger apparently. I am hoping to catch a sale with the Aqua class as well - Blu restaurant seems to get great reviews. Just had my 1st aft cabin on a Holland ship, it was great as well, balcony and room were larger! Vicki:)
  9. Hi Freddie, We applied for our Brazilian Visa's early January took about 2 Weeks. Our contact here is Ottawa was very helpful and guided us all the way. We are leaving Monday for a 16 day tour around the horn. You should get your visa shortly, call them and get an update. Cheers Vicki
  10. Hi Joanie, We just got our cabin assignment for the Veendam A219 leaving for a 16 cruise around the horn in South America. Looks to me like it is an aft cabin, wondering if you have some pictures or info on these cabins. I have never stayed in the aft always a balcony. Thanks Vicki 14 14 days and counting!!:D
  11. I am addicted to cruising now started my 1st cruise in 2005 with Princess and I will be doing my 9th to South America next month. Just love the variety and waking up to a new destination each day and the service and quality are so much more I find then the land trips I have taken:)
  12. 30 Days till South America Adventure - cannot wait:)
  13. Thanks Karen, I certainly will be following you, there are 4 of us on the Veendam in February going around the horn. Enjoy!!:) Vicki
  14. I am also from Ottawa and have flown Continental via Newark this past April, seemless. Also have flown them in the past. Of all the american airlines I have travelled continental is my favorite, travelling them out of Ottawa Via Newark to Miami in December for a family cruise on RCI Liberty of the Seas - 21 of us from Ottawa and Nova Scotia and Toronto. Happy travels, Enjoy!! Vicki:)
  15. Israel was one of our stops last year I found that all the stops we were on excepted the Euro. Don't recall needing any Shekels for Israel since our tour there were no fees for anything, we were gone a full day in Israel and Bethlehem. Have fun!!:)
