Not sure but don’t give up hope yet! While others on our sailing were upgraded approx one month before sail date, we were just upgraded yesterday (same as our traveling companions), and we sail in one week. Interestingly enough, our companions were “offered” less than we were for a sunset veranda, although they originally paid more for their deluxe porthole veranda than we did for our inside guarantee (which had been assigned deluxe inside). Here are the deets: Ship: Apex Length of Cruise: 10 nights Cruise Sail Date: October 6, 2023 Date email offer received: it wasn’t, we each went thru the Move Up choice when poking around in our accounts on 8/1 Captain’s Club Tier: Classic (Select after this sailing) Booked through Celebrity Direct OR via TA: TA Current Cabin: Deluxe Inside Bid? Yes/No: Yes Cabin Category: Oceanview, minimum $100; Deluxe Porthole View with Veranda, minimum $200; Sunset Veranda, minimum $250; Concierge Class with Infinite Veranda, minimum $300; Aqua Class with Infinite Veranda, minimum $400 Bid Offer: Originally (8/1) Concierge Class - $320, but then canceled a month later when deciding that it wasn’t what we really wanted; SV - $255, increased to $405 after figuring out what it was really worth to us 🙂 Notification Date: 9/28/23 Accepted / Rejected: Accepted - Sunset Veranda General Comments (offer details, etc.) As of 9/27, all cabin classes offered showed the ability to still bid/change. Only on 9/28, we didn’t have an option to modify the pending SV bid. Even though it had been pending from the start, not being able to modify was the only heads up before simultaneously receiving notification from Celebrity and our bank (for large cc purchases) later that same day. As mentioned, not all proffers are presented equally; even for the same cabin, our friends were offered to move up to a SV for a minimum $150pp (their ultimate bid), albeit they’d initially paid more for their cabin than we had.
