    How many people

On land I do a lot of running on a treadmill, but on a ship it's too much of a moving target so if there's a jogging track on deck I use it. Last week on the Norwegian Spirit I got in about 40 miles. I also didn't set foot in an elevator. I ate breakfast and lunch twice each day, two entrees and desserts at dinner and weighed the same when I got home

    Jogging track on Spirit

Thanks! I like to run early in the morning before it gets too hot so it shouldn't be an issue. I know that early in the morning the Promenade deck is not an option... I can also do the treadmill when the ship is docked, but always have issues on a treadmill on a rocking ship.
  3. Does anyone know how many laps to a mile on the jogging track on deck 13 on the Spirit?

    Princess - Horseback Riding

I did this excursion 2 weeks ago and agree with dsfitz's description. The one thing that I would add is That the bus had an unpleasant odor. We finally figured out that it was probably from constantly carrying people with wet clothing so the cloth seats ended up with a funky smell. I'm not sure if Princess uses Lucky Stables for all of their horseback excursions in St. Martin but that's where we ended up. http://www.luckystable.com/

Brewed coffee really extra $$ ?

We specifically asked about brewed coffee and the bartender told me that it was not included on the coffee card, I would have to pay for it even if I had the card. That was the main thing that I wanted so I decided not to get the coffee card. I spent less than $27 getting my morning coffee by the cup. I did get a mocha in the dining room a couple of times with dessert. For $2 I though it was a real bargain!

Just off the Caribbean Princess a week ago. I checked into the coffee card and it was $27 and was good for 15 specialty coffee drinks (cappucino, espresso, mocha, etc.) but was not good for a cup of brewed coffee. It was $1.25 for a large, which was much better than the syrup stuff in the buffet.

    CB Patter Question

Kimika is a comedy/music husband and wife team. They do different shows during the week and since they interact with the audience even if it was the same show it would be different. They were on the Caribbean Princess when we were on a couple of years ago but were not on a couple of weeks ago.

    Warning...on Caribbean Princess

We were on CB two weeks ago and noticed sewage smell on the Promenade Deck near the front, just aft of the Princess Theater. This would be directly below where your cabins were. We noticed the exact same thing in the same area on the Star Princess just over a year ago. May be something about the design of the Grand Class. The sewage system has to be vented somewhere.

    Jollymon sail charter

My wife and I sailed with Jolly Mon a couple of years ago and loved it. We kept their business card and took our friends who were cruising with us last week. It was the highlight of our trip. Gayle and Gary are wonderful hosts and will make you feel comfortable whether your a beginner or an experienced snorkeler. I highly recommend them!
  11. We were on the CB last week. I enjoy a rum and Coke in the cabin while getting ready for dinner, and in the past have ordered a liter of Bacardi from room service for about $20. I just carry the Coke on myself. The liter bottle of Bacardi was not available this time. I went to a couple of bars to see if they would sell me a bottle for the stateroom and they would not. The only option available (after I was already on the ship without having smuggled)was the rum and Coke package from room service, a 375 ml bottle of white Bacardi and 3 cans of Coke for $19.50 plus 15% gratuity. That is at least double what you would pay on land.
