    Anywhere the ship goes!
  1. You want to use Mango Nectar! This is found in the Spanish section. It is a Goya product. They are fabulous! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!:D
  2. When you click on the $$ signs they will tell you in another pop up window. Unless that has changed too!
  3. We traveled with a party of 10 ages 13 to 69. We all had a wonderful time! Awesome service, food and overall atmosphere! Like someone else said some are just negative people! My mother is one:eek: Isn't happy unless she ruins someones day! Book and have a wonderful time.
  4. We have done both....private and through Carnival. When we used Carnival it was for convenience because we were traveling with someone in a wheelchair and oxygen. Like others stated above do a search in the port of call. Remember that these islanders do this as a living and want more tourists to use them. Their advertizing is done by word of mouth. They are very good with the ship times also. Granted they can not forsee a breakdown of any sort but ask them about back up plans. What if's? A reputable tour company should have one. Remember also......ask the crew members. We did on our first cruise and were directed to a wonderful resort. It was one of the best highlights of the whole port stop. They listen to other cruisers and of course do their own thing in the ports if they have a day off.
  5. Omar from the Destiny! Out of three cruises the only one who could name all who entered his dining room! We had so much fun with him! Tips? He was the only Matre'd we ever tipped! We love you Omar...................The Ahhhhhhhhhhhhchoo's...LOL
  6. I have been on the Valor, Destiny and Pride.....They all had saltwater pools. The Destiny is an older ship and may not do the change if that is what they are doing on other ships.
  7. LOL.....if you have thick or long hair forget it. If it is short and thin then you will be ok. The hairdryers are hotel style and do not have strength behind them. If you have time then by all means use the cabin one. They do not allow you to use curling irons or flat irons.:)
  8. Or you could use the treadmill in the spa. No the ice cream is not low fat! They do not have frozen yogurt either!
  9. EMPRESS DECK Cabin 7239 (11 VER3) 275/65 sq ft Beds: twin/king-1 sofabed rab:0 View: window and large balcony connecting balconies: yes TV; VCR; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; wall safe; hair dryer; minibar; shower/tub/whirlpool; 2-large closets; dressing area; sitting area: sofa, armchair and coffee table. Note: The cabin has a VCR/DVD unit on: VA LI FD. I did notice that their are handicap accessible cabins in the 11 category.
  10. Do you know which ship or class you are looking at?
  11. I am going on past experience but like the other poster said it can change. Sadly it looks like you will only have the port of St. Maarten where you will be on the side in. Your cabin is on the port side of the ship. This does not mean you will always be port side for viewing.
  12. Take a plastic 20 oz. water bottle and refill with the distilled water. I taped the cap on then placed it in a zip lock baggy. Carried it in our checked luggage. Like everyone said don't leave it at home. You will feel yucky due to lack of sleep. The airlines and the ship personel are very familiar with these machines so you should have no problems with carrying it on.
  13. We had breakfast many mornings on the Valor in the dining room. We did not feel rushed and we didn't seem to wait long. We preferred the dining room so we could be waited on. Plus the eggs benedict was really good! The seating is first come. They will try to give you a private table but you may have to share. We didn't have to share but then again we were a party of ten! We did however share on a previous cruise and we enjoyed it immensely.
  14. Congratulations on your nuptuals. Great review and thanks for sharing your photos.
