I keep getting emails to purchase excursions for a cruise that is 708 days away. They just send out once you book.

I highly recommend International Friends. I have taken them from Southampton dock with a stop at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor then dropped off at my London hotel, arriving at the hotel around 5-6pm. Purchase tickets for Stonehenge and Windsor through them, I have also taken them post cruise from Dover. A great way to see another part of Britain and getting dropped off at a London hotel.

In the past, I have pre purchased the soda package (I don’t drink alcohol or coffee/tea), tips and Elite WiFi and saved a couple hundred $ over the Plus. I can live without the fancy desserts, the casual dining, fitness classes.

On one cruise, I talked to the Head of Hotel in length , I mentioned to him, Princess should offer a non alcoholic package as so many don’t drink alcohol and he thought that was a great idea and he said he would pass it along to headquarters. Who knows if it was ever mentioned to headquarters?

I bought one like that through Amazon. It has 3 speeds and is chargeable. I used it while on a Hawaii cruise in the ports. I found it great as heat affects me.

I booked a cruise June 13, 2025. I found a cheaper price about a week later. I submitted Better than Best claim form. About 2 1/2 weeks later received a denial email that said “ booking was refared June 13, 2025”. June 13, 2025 was when I booked the cruise.

I noticed I could use my password after I received the code.

I had to log in with a code also today (July 3).

For my Feb 2026 cruise, I booked in Feb 2025, my CDN exchange rate is $1.44. For my Aug 2027cruise, I book in June 2025, the CDN exchange is $1.39.

I have purchased OBC in CDN$ (better rate than banks) into US$ as OBC before my cruise. I have used in the casino, You set up a casino account with your medallion, you put in your birthday, a number passcode, it will ask $ you want to switch from your cabin account to your casino account. PLAY a little then cash out. Go to casino cashier, you use your medallion and passcode, you get US$ cash. All casino account need to be empty before the last day. I have read, people have received a US cheque for any left over money in their casino account. I had $ OBC left over in my cabin account for a cancelled excursion the last day . I asked at Guest Services 3x times from 3 different crew members, if it would be on my CDN credit card or USA cheque, “since it is your refundable money, on your card”. I received a USA cheque in the mail. The envelope is not from Princess, so check all your junk mail.

I bought this type from Amazon for my 4 and 1 yr granddaughters, easy to pack and once there blow it up. They used it at an all inclusive resort in Jamaica.

Some of the Grand class ships have a roof over the main pool. Does the Emerald’s main pool have roof?

If your flight is not until 7:30pm, instead of waiting the whole time at the airport, why not take Carnival post cruise excursion. Pick up from the dock, the driver puts the luggage under the bus, you have your tour then dropped off at the airport with your luggage.

If the ship has Alfredo/Gigi pizza place, we found we each could not eat a whole pizza (large dinner plate), we asked if we could use only 1 casual dining credit. We shared the appetizer, dessert and each chose the pizza topping for each half. Doing only 1 casual dining credit instead of 2, we could go again.
