A question about Meyer Werft's webcam (some of Star's blocks are in Hall 5 as shown in some earlier posts here) had me reminiscing and looking back at Quantum of the Seas's build thread. My introduction to Royal Caribbean cruise ship builds started with this ship here on Cruise Critic. I wanted to check out my first ever post. Apparently it's this one... Sigh. I was such a novice. Thanks to all the others who contributed to the thread and showed me the ropes, as well as get me excited about cruise ship construction. 😁 AND NOW BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAM...

If you're thinkng that Star of the Seas could be bigger/longer than Icon of the Seas, apparently not. Thanks to @Eremita85 for bringing article to my attention. It is also based on the Icon 1 in its technical characteristics. I can't really say anything else about it, because the subscriber will inform about the differences and new features in his own schedule.
