Thanks Debbie. If we were younger, and if Jim didn't have lung problems, he himself would've done most of this work himself. Many Firefighters, including Jim, have/had side jobs, and Jim's was home improvement of all kinds. In the past, he and his friends built homes from the bottom, up. He is very skilled in Carpentry, and has done jobs in plumbing. He did everything in our 100 year old home, including putting a new roof on our 3 story home. Those days are long gone, though.😔 When we discovered the black mold behind the hot water heater, he began to pull the moldy sheetrock down, until I made him stop. (did I already say that on my first post about our mold? If so, I apologize) Hoping to hear from Remediation tomorrow. If not, will be calling... In the meantime, good luck to Andy this coming Tuesday. Will he be going home the same day as Surgery?😘

Wow! You were lucky! Jim thinks that this had to be going on for a very long time! The moldy sheetrock and insulation were soaked with hot water. @Sunshine3601 Thanks Debbie..I really was hoping he was going to start on Monday, but since we didn't hear from him yesterday, I know for sure it won't be then. Just get started already!

I googled something from my Pulmonologist...I don't want to get my medical information from the internet either.....and yet....🙅♀️ I also wish there wasn't so much information on the MyCharts that all of the doctors seem to have. I know; I can choose not to look; however, once again... The worst thing, from what I can see on your Post, is that your favorite wine is not on your liquor store shelf!😁 I hope they get it in really soon for you!😉

I did, thank you, Debbie. It was pretty easy, once I figured out what I was doing. I am so not a techie! Our seats will remain the same, and our flight is leaving about 50 minutes later than originally scheduled. I sure hope I don't have to do any more changes; we have a mold problem in our garage and on the kitchen wall which is on the other side of the garage wall. We discovered a pipe leaking (pinhole) from our hot water heater, and found the entire wall was black mold. Our first job was to get a plumber in to replace the leaky pipe, and from there, we've been in a kind of limbo, between making phone calls, waiting for an appointment for adjuster, restoration company, waiting and wondering when this will be started! This was discovered in September, and it is now November; I've got our kitchen cabinets emptied out for close to two weeks now. They are going to have a granite company come to take our granite off the counters and store them. We have black mold behind the stove, and the cabinets are going to be taken out to see if they need replacing. We also have the black mold in the crawl space under that part of the kitchen. Anyway, Jim said that if they're not done by the time we're flying to Florida, he wants me to go ahead of him, and he'll stay behind. I do hope that they would just get started!! And, hoping it won't take as long as we are afraid it will to get it done,🙅♀️

Oh Marietta, I am so sorry to hear that Charlie has pneumonia, and that the two of you had such an awful exhausting and worrisome night. I do hope he recovers quickly from this, and I sure wish you some alone time, if that's possible. I feel so badly for you both. (((Hugs)))❤️ I wonder if either of my nephews were the EMT's to arrive at your home. They are great at their jobs. I'm glad they were able to keep you both calm; pretty scary once we have to call 911.
