  1. Columbia will take great care of him and figure out what's best for Charlie. Great hospital! Jim had his aortic valve transplant there back in 2015. I loved his doctor and the nurses there. Years ago, a friend of mine was taken to Columbia after St. Vincent's (it'll always be St. Vincent's to me) was unable to help. By the time she was in Columbia, she was in a coma, and was in pretty bad shape. The care she got there was excellent. At one point we all thought we were going to lose her. Between the many prayers, and the nurses and doctors, she came out of her coma, and is back to being the independent woman she always was. She's doing really well these days. We're all praying for you and Charlie.🙏 (((Hugs)))❤️ I'm glad Charlie's transplant doctor will be there for him.
  2. I am so very sorry, Marietta.😔 The two of you just can't get a break lately. Prayers that Charlie's health begins to improve. 🙏 Easier said than done, but please try to take care of yourself. Hugs for you.❤️
  3. How are all of the patients doing today? @DaniDanielle thinking of you and Charlie @Momof3gurlz How is Andy feeling? @MJSailors How is your knee, Mary? Are all of you getting some sleep? Marietta? Debbie? Mary?
  4. What an awesome gift!! God Bless that person for their generous gift! The same goes to you and Susan for your generous gift of time and caring!🙏
  5. One of the twins has a beauty mark on her face.😉 Neither of the girls got a scar from the chicken pox. The one with the beauty mark had an awful case of the chicken pox...covered her everywhere! The second had a very mild case. When my grandchildren were little, there was an occasional oops! that's not my mom!😊
  6. Wow! They are very lucky girls! My friends granddaughter was born early and she is a special needs child as a result of the problems of her premature birth. My daughters are identical, but did not look it until they were around a year or so old. They are very close to each other. I had twin brothers (one passed a few years ago) who were fraternal. They looked identical until around the age of one, also. It's funny how that happens. One of my daughters was living here in NJ for around 15 years, and my other daughter moved here when we moved here 8 years ago. There are times they get mistaken for each other at different activities around town. Lately, they've been wearing their hair the same way....
  7. My twin daughters were two weeks early, and weighed 6 lbs., 5 ozs, and 5lbs., 6 ozs. A girl in my Twin Mothers Club had good sized twins, around 8 lbs each.
  8. Wow! Your nieces were tiny! How early were they when they were born? Wonderful vocations they have both chosen. Easy to tell what a loving and proud Aunt you are to the girls, Barb! ❤️
  9. @MJSailors I'm glad your knee surgery has gone so well for you. What a great idea to do knee exercises prior to surgery. Wonderful that it went so very well that you are optimistic about having it done on your second knee when the time is right! It sounds like you've got this, Mary!! Here's to a quick recovery, especially with your positive outlook!🌹
  10. Great memory to have of holding your tiny newborn nieces, Barb! I can still see my first grandchild's face as I held her in the Delivery Room shortly after she was born. She looked right into my face...I'll never ever forget that! She turned 23 years old on Halloween.❤️ Our little Pumpkin Erin! As Karen posted, it's going to be a beautiful day for your beautiful Niece's Wedding!😉
  11. Same here! Although I did make reservations and paid for Hooked, since I wanted to make sure we'd get a spot one evening, so I now will be eating at Specialty restaurants for 4 nights. We also have reservations at the Solarium restaurant for one evening.
  12. I had either read about or seen it on tv that a person not voting in Australia and I believe New Zealand would be fined if not voting without an excuse.
  13. Love your shirt! Jim and I Voted early the Saturday before last. We always waited until Election Day, but will be doing early voting in the future. Easy peasy. 🇺🇸
  14. I'm guessing there'll be some Dad jokes coming soon, since your many friends gave you some new material to work with!😉 Keep them coming, John!❤️
  15. I'm sorry that you will now be having a medical Aide on a daily basis, Lenny. I'm sure it will help Toby by having the Aide come to you, and it sounds like the Aide is coming highly recommended! Hugs to you, Lenny.🥰
  16. Man, that's tough. He will certainly be much more comfortable in Rehab. Let's face it, no one wants to be in Rehab, but it is definitely a necessity, and especially in Charlie's case. I feel for you, Marietta.❤️
