  1. We booked the breakfast & whale watch tour through viator. The receipt says to check in at the office by Deck 0 behind the Hacienda Resort. The web pictures show the catamaran as the Cabo Escape which appears to be docked at Dock O. Where would we get the closest water taxi from where the ship tender drops you off?
  2. We used Sunseekers s few years ago and they were terrific. We highly recommend them.
  3. Thanks for the directions. We'll go that route if we're in a time crunch. We're in Cabo the day before as well. I plan on visiting the excursion office that day and giving them the heads up we're on the ship. Hopeful they'll let us check in the day before and just meet the catamaran for the excursion. It looks like the catamaran is docked very close to the tender drop from cruise ship passengers.
  4. I think land taxi is going to be our plan. Once we exit the tender, do you know where the fastest place to find a taxi will be?
  5. We're locked in but for others reading this thread, great idea!
  6. Thank you both for your replies. The wiki map called it a 30 min walk around the marina. After factoring in we're not priority tender, I knew we were cutting it very close. I pictured my 50+ year old out of shape body making a run for it... lol ~ Sheryl
  7. When you tender in Cabo, which dock do the tenders deliver you to? We need to get to Dock 0 (behind Hacienda Beach Resort) for an excursion. On Wikimaps they refer to it as Cruise Ship Tender Drop Off North. Directly across the inlet is Cruise Ship Tender Drop Off South by Senor Frogs. If they drop us there, we have to make it as quickly as possible around the Marina full circle to Dock 0. Our plan is to be ready to tender as soon as they allow non-priority guests to debark. For any who have tendered in Cabo, information is very much appreciated. Thanks much ~ Sheryl
  8. A week or so ago they offered me an upsell from our Panorama deck balcony to an Ocean Suite for that same price difference. I think they're having a hard time selling our sailing. Guarantee balconies are going for $509. More bacon for me. :p
  9. One of our favorite (and busiest!) cruises! St. Thomas: We booked catamaran sail/snorkel to Buck Island to swim with the sea turtles. Great water day. Barbados: Another catamaran sail/snorkel to swim with the sea turtles. Used Island Marketing. Another great excursion. St. Lucia: Booked Cosols all day tour. The snorkeling at the Pitons is fabulous. St. Kitts: Booked a tour that ended up at the Shipwreck beach bar. Many taxi straight to Shipwreck and spend the day. I would if I were going a second time. St. Maarten: Raced the American's cup yachts then taxi'd over to Maho Beach. Rented chairs and an umbrella to relax in the surf while the planes flew in overheard. It's a fabulous itinerary. Have fun! ~ Sheryl
  10. We used them for our Carnival cruise in 2011 and they were wonderful. On the front end of the cruise, we rented in LA and dropped it at the LB office. After we turned our in the car, they drove us directly to the pier to catch our cruise. On the back end, they picked us up at the port and drove us back to their office to complete the paperwork for another weekend rental. We're considering another Carnival/Mexico cruise in February and would definitely use them again. ~ Sheryl
  11. We stayed on the Valor in Panorama balcony rooms. This is our favorite cabin option on the Conquest class ships and we book it every chance we get. If you go all the way forward, there's a door leading out onto the bow of the ship. Also, the doors at the other end lead you right to the small pool and an outdoor shower right under the water slide. We've never experienced much foot traffic or noise. Have fun on your cruise. :) ~ Sheryl
  12. It's our location of choice whenever we're on a Conquest class ship. It's quieter up there, less foot traffic. The spa is only a flight of stairs or small elevator ride away. There's a hot tub and small pool just outside the doors leading onto the deck. Easy access to the Lido deck. Can you tell we're fans? lol We've stayed in balconies port and starboard, far forward and closer to the elevators... liked them all. :) ~ Sheryl
  13. We were just on this itinerary in November and loved it. We spent our pre-cruise time at the Chateau Cervantes. It's a small boutique hotel and I highly recommend it. From the hotel we walked to to Ft Cristobel, all over Old San Juan, and even to the port with our luggage. http://www.cervantespr.com/new/ ~ Sheryl
  14. Katie: Your pictures are fabulous... thanks for sharing! We're on the next sailing, which means I'm glued to your review! :) ~ Sheryl
