Just an FYI (No Passport Online Renewal
retiredgram replied to Ret MP's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Our passports expired March 3. We used them on our Nov., Dec., Jan. and Feb. cruises. Each time I got the six-month warning. Could not take the chance of getting them renewed with cruises that close. To be on the safe side, we did take other ID, birth certificates, marriage license and drivers license. As soon as we returned, we sent off for renewal. Hopefully we get new passports before we cruise again in the fall. -

Just an FYI (No Passport Online Renewal
retiredgram replied to Ret MP's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Ours expired March 3. We mailed for our renewal on the 24 of Feb. Tracking showed it was delivered and picked up on the 27. I checked last night and it is being processed. I don't expect new ones until maybe May. We had 3 cruises booked in Sept, Oct, Nov., and Dec. Also 2 in Feb. so we did not want to risk not getting back our new passports. I took our birth certificates and marriage licence to show name change for me. We never had problem with our soon to be expired Passports, thank God. -
Teenagers causing damage to ship this week
retiredgram replied to CruisingHogFan's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Reminds of the time lifeguard told a mother her toddler could not be in the pool; child had a diaper on. Her response was to remove diaper, throw it on the side and say," ok, she does not have a diaper now". Saw this with my own eyes.😲 She did eventually leave. Sorry I drifted away from original topic. Now I will get back to the topic of damage control -
A memorex review... Oasis of the Seas March 5th

I will be following. Keep it coming. -
Thanks for your response. Hubby said just leave it as is since we get 2 bottles of wine. I guess we will just ask on the next cruise about our block for that ship to see if they have the new ones.

So, does mean that hubby has to call and change his beer to something else?? We did not fill out form on last cruise, does that mean we will not receive block for that particular ship ??

App working for me. -
On 1/31/2023 at 1:17 PM, little britain said: Here's the way to fix it... Login in to your cruise page. Then click on your Initials in the top right corner, then profile, my loyalty. Then take Your Crown & Anchor number out, type it back in and click save. Then go back to your upcoming cruises. This should fix it.

Crown and Anchor phone number

Normally I use google but thought maybe a search on CC could bring it up. As you can see, all the great people on CC were able to give the correct way to solve the problem. Thanks to all. -
Crown and Anchor phone number

Thank you everyone. This fix worked and now everything is back to normal -
Can't seem to find the phone number for the Crown and anchor society. Tried the search area. This is what I get now when I sign on. Sorry, we’re unable to display your loyalty status and points right now. Please check back later.

Cruising with Birth Certificate
retiredgram replied to Scotico's topic in Royal Caribbean International
My BC is also a certified copy of my states birth record. I used it when I originally got my passport. Just to be safe, I will also be taking it with us, along with photo ID and marriage license on our next cruise because our pass ports will expire the month after we return. When I did our cruise check in, got a pop up saying RC recommends having 6 months remaining on passport when you return from your cruise. -
I was wondering, if I were solo, if I would find it more convenient to have the beds pushed together against the one wall. I think i remember going into a cabin that was like that, but of course they were going to be on the ship for many continuous cruises. Just a thought. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. We know it was bitter cold when you got on the ship.

This is copied from my edocs: Mandatory Safety Briefing All guests must attend the mandatory safety briefing (also known as: Muster/Assembly Drill) and follow all health and safety instructions issued by the Captain as part of the mandatory safety announcements. Upon embarkation, guests will have a window of several hours during which they must (a) review essential safety information and (b) report to their designated muster station. On certain vessels, guests are encouraged to use our patented eMuster™ system which allows for the review of essential safety information by viewing a safety video via our mobile app or stateroom myTV interactive systems (applicable ships). Guests who do not complete the safety video portion of the muster requirements via eMuster™, or who are otherwise unable to review essential safety information upon embarkation, will be required to participate in a brief safety presentation upon arrival at their designated muster station. The mobile guest application is available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
