They would be more likely to gain new customers like myself if good prices and full details were available to everyone from the release. They could still offer loyalty discounts and other benefits to regular repeat clients.
-
its a good bet that they will all soon be charging higher price.

I did not realise that you had to decide there and then when you got the call. I don't usually make snap decisions about anything it's nice to have time to consider things. Now that I know I will never pre register, just take my chance on a good price or wait for any later offers, lot's of other options out there.

That sounds like a trip we did on our last day many years ago, it was excellent.

P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Never found jet lag a problem when flying from South Africa has you don't cross time zones. Sorry, just realised they flew from Sydney totally different. -
We did a similar excursion in 2008 not sure if it was to the same beach. Our bus was left near a farm and we went most of the way to the beach on the back of a truck, we also had a meal in a barn. At the beach were treated to the sight of Orcas cruising up and down hunting seals, unforgettable experience.

lovely ship, one of the 4 millennium class, getting on a bit now but just the ideal size in my opinion. We went around South America and through the Panama Canal on her a few years ago. -

is your car a De lorion. -
If you walk up through the main Shopping street you come to the Trafalgar Cemetery which we found to be interesting, just beyond that is the cable car up into the rock.
-
Unbelievable that anyone would want to watch a film with the wonders that you are cruising past outside. You pictures are bringing back wonderful memories of our cruise in 2008, you are fortunate to have one of the best Captains we ever sailed with in charge.

Good choice, runs every 10 minutes and is short ride in, drops you in the City Centre. Just be aware that if you use a seniors bus pass you are still charged but at a reduced rate. I have witnessed people from out of town complaining that it should be free. The charge is on!y on the special park and ride buses, all other buses are free with the pass. -

Parking in York is very expensive but there are several park and rides around the ring road, all well signposted. The buses are frequent including one at the Designer Outlet outlet, we use them all the time. -
Antarctic was our first Azamara cruise back in 2008 It was booked on Celebrity Journey but by sailing day Azamara had been created. That was what sold us on Azamara, still our best ever cruise and in my opinion Azamara was at it best in those early days.

Anyone know how close the dock is to the Railway station and is it walkable or is transport required. We can walk a good way but not has mobile has we used to be. Thanks to everyone for your information.
-
Thanks for that, I had seen it priced on the websites for 500 krona, which has you say is around £35. I am interested if the Saga included Bus Tour will worth doing but if we decide to do the train will book direct.
-
The included tour is described has a scenic tour by bus, I believe the train ride will be offered has a extra charge tour. Not had the full details of tours yet has the cruise in not until late May so cannot be booked until later. Just wondered if anyone had done the included tour and what that is like.
-
Anyone done the Flam included scenic excursion,. is it worth worth booking or is it much better to book a train tour. Have done scenic trains in various part of the world, just wondering how the included trip compares.

Selbourne ‘Live’ from Aurora’s 2024 Grand Tour

We did a full transit a few years ago on Celebrity Infinity cruising up the coast of South America through the Canal ending in Florida. We were in the old Canal but I believe the newer bigger Celebrity Ships have to use the new one. -

The Best Chess Board I have ever had at sea was Sagas, you can choose your own every night from a great selection of at least 8, has many has you like. Has they say you get what you pay for most of the time. -

Totally agree about the Falklands being a gamble when on a cruise, we did the cruise with Azamara some years ago and were lucky to land. Just days before us the QE2 was on its final world cruise and had to pass them bye. The locals were very disappointed had they had planned a special welcome for the Ship due to it's part in the war.. -
Unfortunately the coffee was has I had expected but we did enjoy our cruise, now booked again for May

They did have a price guarantee in the US but I don't think it has ever applied in the UK, it's not really all inclusive speciality restaurants and premium drinks are extra charge. -

All 8 ships were originally built for Renaissance cruise line around 2000, they went out of business shortly afterwards. After various owners Azamara now have 4 and Oceana cruises have the other 4, lovely ships.
