  1. Thanks for doing another great trip report. We also live in downtown Chicago so your perspective carries a lot of weight for me regarding food quality. I followed your May Alaska trip report on the Eclipse to help build excitement for our August Eclipse Alaska cruise. It turned out to be a wonderful cruise and we had Dev as our waiter in Luminae! My 3 year old daughter and Dev were best buddies by the end of the cruise. We're going to be on the Silhouette in July 2020 for a N Europe and are doing a Sky Suite again for that cruise. I imagine Dev will have moved on by then, but now I have my hopes up we will see him again. We only cruise once every year or so, so we don't have great odds of running into the same people again.
  2. Im curious how you knew to flag him down? Do you know if he helps Sky Suite skip the line too by any chance? Thanks!
  3. I am enjoying your trip report! I also live in downtown Chicago and am doing the same cruise on the Eclipse out of Vancouver in Aug so it’s great to hear your perspective. I’m even staying at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver before our cruise as an Explorist so I’m interested to hear that portion too
  4. I knew when I saw this thread title it was going to be about the Eclipse. I have seen a big spike in the last couple months of complaints about the food on the ship on the reviews here. I've been reading them out of excitement for an upcoming cruise on the ship. I just made my final payment on an Eclipse cruise in Alaska and I'm getting pretty nervous about it. I hope whatever has gone wrong on that ship is resolved quickly!
