Yes it’s disappointing not going to Airlie beach. I suggest when you get to Fremantle try and go to Rottnest Island and it’s quite easy to do yourself. Useful information but too late.We are travelling from Sydney to Southampton then travelling round Europe for 4 months . Certainly won’t be able to take suits, tuxedos or glam dresses. Loved reading your exploits. I live in Torquay near the Great Ocean Road and probably take so much for granted.So it’s nice to read something from a tourists eyes. We are cruising next week from Sydney to Southampton. Was to go via lots of Asian ports but now doing Australia ports instead before getting back on track to Sri Lanka. We are due to join a round the world cruise that started in England. We are joining it in Sydney next week .PO Arcadia. It has now cancelled all the Asian ports and is going Brisbane, then Tasmania, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany and Fremantle before heading back on course to a Sri Lanka. Would love to stop in Darwin, Port Moresby, Mauritius avoiding Asia altogether.

We booked excursions in Shanghai from the ship and visas are included. But very probably not going anyway but there are so many stops in Asia apart from China. Going to be interesting.Mystery tour!

Does anyone know the latest on the likelihood of Arcadia not visiting Shanghai or other Asian ports on her world cruise.? We are boarding in Sydney but haven’t heard anything.
