Hi, I have been giving tours of Vancouver and area Including Victoria to friends I have met on my own cruises. I would be more than happy to show you around. I have lived and worked in Vancouver since the seventies.
Please feel free to contact me to answer any questions and help to plan your visit.
Sir John. 604-856-1000
Hi, Sir John. We’re visiting in June 19 and have 2/3 days to fill before we embark the QE.
It’ll be our first visit to Canada and we’ve been told there are so many things in Vancouver that we “have” to see we fear not making the most of the time we have.
If your available and willing to help out 2 middle age Brits could you mail me on.....martin18363@hotmail.com
Hoping we can sort something out.
All the best.

Yes but also make sure that you put some of that loot into the collection bin so that those children who have not had the opportunity to mix with the visitors can share in that joy.
All the money given we saw was put in the school bin, the kids didn’t keep it.
You don’t even have to get character based sticker books for them to be thrilled to get them.
A number of our travel pals said how much the children loved getting them and how much they loved seeing their faces.
They wished they’d done the same.

Top tip...if you’re visiting the school. Don’t give cash. Instead take school stationery, pencils, rubbers, sticker books etc.
The children really love them, the joy on their faces made us wish we’d taken more.

We did this last August and had a fantastic time, on and off the boat.
The trips in Beijing and Xian, before the cruise and those on the cruise were memorable and tiring. It was very hot and humid when we did it.
If you have mobility or breathing issues this may not be the itinerary for you.
If you want a taste of the “entertainment “ search for me on YouTube.
Don’t take it to seriously tho lol

Hi
We are currently onboard the Meraviglia and would like to say "don't believe all you read" about this ship. First off the ship is huge and there are passengers from every corner of the world. It is busy but then there are nearly 4000 passengers. The rooms are lovely and everything is spotless. The staff are fantastic and it is great to chat to staff who come from all parts of the world. The food is good. The evening meal is well cooked but small in portion although you can ask for two starters or two mains. The upstairs buffet is always busy but then it was on every cruise we have been on. The pizza is to die for though. The drinks package is great and there is a great range of drinks. The good thing is that if you order something that's not included they tell you. The majority of the passengers are Italians, who are fine. They do charge for things like water, but it comes in litre bottles which is great for taking to your room or on shore. Please don't believe the negative reviews. The ship and cruise is great and we would use MSC again.
Good to hear, we’re onboard in February.
What is the daytime entertainment like please ?

Happy to have found the his page.
Does anyone know if there’s a geocaching vlogger ?
Was thinking of giving it a go.
We love caching abroad as it can take you to some lovely none tourist places.
Got 4 booked for 18, all Europe and one for 19 (Rocky Mountaineer and Alaskan Cunard)

Because ladies (most ladies anyway) do not have arm pit hair and chest hair sticking out.
So ? Unsightly doesn't make it unhygienic

Regarding the anti tank top comments. Why is it ok for ladies to wear vest tops with spaghetti straps and always has been ?

The Dubai Opera House is now open. Perhaps there is an event scheduled during your evening stay. The Opera House is adjacent to Burj Khalifa in the downtown area.

I have never been refused soda from a can!
As a matter of fact some sodas such as Diet Sprite or Coke Zero are ONLY available from a can.
Well I have.

Can anyone advise me on if it's a viable option to have a driver for a day in Dubai as opposed to using the ho-ho bus.
Or is using the taxis a better idea ?
We've done the red route (old town) and the Burj so we'll be looking at the newer part.
Suggestions for evening entertainment would be welcome too.

On ships without the Freestyle machines, it's true there are only about 6 choices of drinks with the soda package.
And only one of them is diet.

Can't comment on the tour but no need for a taxi. Dubai has a very cheap and comprehensive monorail . There's also a ho-ho bus that has 3 routes.

Pretty sure Viking provide bicycles but it may depend on which boat you're on.
Give them a call, they'll tell you quick enough.
