We were in 11914. Can confirm there's a floor to ceiling window with a view of the boardwalk. The main downside is that I think our room was smaller than then typical interior room. There was only enough room for a one-person armchair, versus a two-person sofa that I believe is standard.
Did you happen to have any pictures of the cabin/view from the cabin?

Both 12926 and 12818 are boardwalk view. Those were cabins added last
year During the amplification. On some ships they are called Promenade view and others they are called Boardwalk view. Even the ones on deck 7 are called promenade view.
So is 12916 boardwalk view too? Is the room smaller (140 sq ft) versus a true promenade view interior (191 sq ft)?

Hello,
I am booked on Oasis next year and called and switched to what I was told was a Promenade Interior View - room 12916. My invoice says it's a Promenade Interior View as well. But looking at the deck plans, I don't see how that is even possible??

Does anyone know if you have something booked with nonrefundable deposit and cancel prior to final payment under the cruise with confidence, will you receive a full refund since it’s outside of final payment or is the deposit still FCC?

Is there any way to find out what band will be in the music hall on the Anthem? We’re sailing December 1. TIA!

My husband proposed on the Rising Tide Bar on the Oasis when there was only 1 other couple on it so it wasn't a big, public proposal.

Thank you but the answer to the question was not posted in there. I’m simply looking to know about a return time. In my cruise planner the excursion says 12:30 pm to 10:30 pm but since the ship leaves at 9:30 pm I know that’s not accurate.

Hi all,
We’re on the Anthem in a couple months and docking in Port Canaveral from 12:00 to 9:30. We booked the Disney excursion through Royal (we’ve been numerous times so we’re not actually doing the parks but will probably head to Disney Springs). Does anyone know what time Royal’s bus back to the ship usually leaves the transportation center at MK?
TIA!

I booked last week for a cruise in December. Due to it sort of being last minute, I had to pay in full. When I tried to apply the OBC they said I couldn’t because I was after final payment. I emailed back and am waiting for a response but has anyone else experienced this? I saw where it said you had to apply within 30 days of booking and apply the voucher within 14 days of redeeming the voucher, but did not see anywhere that it has to be before final payment.

We're debating giving it a shot. Considering Wonderland and Chops are both more than the the $30, if we can do both for $30 it seems almost too good of a deal but I haven't seen anywhere indicating you can't do those two restaurants.

Hello!
We are boarding the Anthem in a couple weeks and see there are 4 and 5 night specialty dining packages available at discounted rates of $100 and $115 respectively. Has anyone does this and if so, can you share your experience? Are you able to go to the same restaurant multiple times (like if we really wanted, could we go to Chops all nights?)
Thanks in advance!

Good morning,
I'll be boarding the Navigator tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone knows how much the unlimited WiFi on one device is for a 6 nt cruise with the diamond discount? I normally unplug completely on the ship but I'll be traveling without my husband this time and wanted to see about using one of those text for free apps that works over wifi.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I'm booked on the Navigator in December so past final payment and all that. When I booked, it was during April and they had a primo where you didn't have to pay taxes or port fees. Does anyone know, if I try to upgrade my cabin if I'd have to pay taxes and port fees now?
Thanks,
Sarah

With all the threads about the increase in drink prices and the drink packages, I've seen the drink of the day price has at least remained reasonable. I remember when I first started cruising actually liking the drink of the day but the last couple of time I remember thinking they were weird choices (imo) and not opting for them. Can someone who has cruised recently provide insight on what some of the drink of the days have been recently? Thanks!

Thank you so much for posting recent compasses. We just booked the 8 night for the end of next month and was hoping I'd see some.
Question - usually the compasses have a day insert and an evening insert. It appears this is all on one now which makes it seem like there aren't a lot of activities. Did you find that there was not much going on in the evenings/nights?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Thank you for the responses so far. We're not necessarily the "boogie all night" type but we do enjoy things like listening to someone play the guitar in the pub on RC ships and the piano in the Schooner bar. Do they have things like that?

Hello,
My fiance and I are looking into the Solstice for our honeymoon next year. We're both in our late 20's and we're Diamond members on RC and enjoy RC a lot; unfortunately, their only Hawaiian cruise in Sept next year leaves the day of our wedding so we cannot go that route. One of our major concerns/hesitations is the night life (or maybe lack of) on the Solstice. Can anyone provide honest insight into the night life activities that are available and how late they actually run? We've read some reviews that say the ship almost shuts down by 10PM and I don't want to regret my honeymoon.
I appreciate all responses!!!
Thank you,
Sarah

We fly down Friday from CT as well! Looking forward to boarding Saturday morning!

We typically book it the last night because there is usually not much going on and we're not big fans of the menu on the last night. When they used to give envelopes, we would go deliver the tips to our waiters so they knew we were not stiffing them.
-
Thank you for the quick response. Those were actually the Western ones that I had referred to. I believe (and I could be wrong) that the nightly activities may be different on Western vs Eastern based on days in port and what not. If anyone else has a link to Eastern ones that are recent, it's greatly appreciated!

Good morning all,
I was wondering if anyone had any recent Oasis Eastern Caribbean compasses? I saw the recent review with photos and it has the Western Caribbean compasses included. We just booked for May 31 and can book entertainment already so I wanted to make sure we didn't book a show during one of our other favorite things.
Thank you,
Sarah
SAS Transportation with carseats
in Florida Departures

Has anyone used SAS Transportation from FLL to port of Miami and installed their own car seats? I saw a post that said you could not install them but I called and the guy said they use Mercedes Sprinter vans and he *thinks* you can install them. Looking for confirmation. Thanks!
