  1. I finally got through today. They could not find either of our status matches being submitted. They asked me to email the details to : mscexistingreservations@msccruisesusa.com 
  2. Thanks. It's been over a week for us. I think I'll call them tomorrow.
  3. How long did it take for you to hear something?
  4. Thanks Mark! I checked and neither of our sailings are included in that. Will keep that in mind for the future. Barb
  5. I submitted status match for my RCL Diamond status. Haven't heard anything yet, but I think that will match to Gold on MSC. Would I have been better to use my Marriott Titanium status? Thanks for any info
  6. Hi - We are new to MSC and have already submitted for status match to our RCL Diamond status. It's my understanding that would get us Gold on MSC and a 5% discount. I've also heard that the (retired) military discount is 10%. We'll be in the yacht club on our first scheduled cruise for this fall. I'm thinking these two discounts cannot be combined. Is that correct? Any advice would be appreciated. We're very much looking forward to our first MSC cruise. We've even booked a second for early next year! Thanks, Barb
  7. I usually check insuremytrip.com and compare packages. We fly to the port so want coverage for flight delays, luggage loss, etc along with medical, evacuation and cancellation coverage.
  8. Thanks for the info Jim. If we have a cocktail party in our suite, do we pay for individual drinks for our guests or is it limited to the bottles of liquor we've selected for the suite? Thanks, Barb
  9. We're going to be in a Royal Suite on Equinox. Any suggestions of what we could ask of the butler? Thanks!
  10. Call back and ask someone else. As someone said - once they assign you a category/cabin you should be able to change the cabin within the same category. Can't hurt to call back a time or two.
  11. She told us that too (Equinox) but when I asked her to please check on that she came back and said they do but only upon request now as some folks were just leaving them. If you're in a PH or RS I would ask your butler when you board.
  12. We're taking my mom on a short cruise for her 85th birthday. She is Diamond Plus and we are Diamond. Will she still get two days free and us 1 day free each? DH reads our local paper on his tablet so it would be nice for him to be able to download it daily. Thanks in advance for any info.
