  1. Finally received my deposit back (made 01/2019) from my first cruise on Crystal. 10/2020 cruise was canceled 06/2020. It took one full year to receive refund, even after multiple calls from our travel agent and repeated promises from Crystal. We will look at other luxury cruises companies for our next cruise. I agree with the lack of communication and poor crisis management on Azamara side but if your cruise was canceled at the end of May, you may have to wait close to 90 days to receive a full refund. You will see small amounts credited to your CC or bank account from time to time without explanations from Azamara and you should get the full refund after about 12 weeks. It is infuriating while you wait but don’t despair , there is a dim light at the end of this tunnel!

It would also have helped if Azamara had send an email to confirm and explain partial reimbursements to their US customers and their TA My excellent TA was never involved in the processus. and was equally baffled by the delays and fractional payments . I discovered the payments when checking my bank account and credit card statements I am not complaining, I got my money back in the end but the processus was protracted and nebulous. Let me add that Azamara may not be alone in this mess, I am waiting for Crystal to refund my money on a canceled Cruise in the fall and the

  5. Finally, I received a full refund for the Canceled TA in April. It came in 4 random amounts over the last 6 weeks. I am still waiting for ChoiceAir to refund my AA flight to Miami. I am ready to cruise again with Azamara but there must be a better way to process refunds!

    Thank you for the update Mr Pimentel! Where have you been since the beginning of this crisis? Seems too little and too late to this frequent Azamara cruiser.

    Could somebody clarify term “ US sailings “? I am on the Quest leaving Miami on 4/5 for the TA (probably to nowhere as European ports will be closed and return flights canceled....) Does that mean this cruise is canceled and a refund is an option?
