Wondering if someone can tell us when we should expect to receive our cruise documents. We have only a few weeks before our cruise leaves so hoping it will be soon. I can not recall from prior cruises when they usually arrive.

Portolan, that is such good advice. I decided to check our flights for an upcoming cruise, only to find a time change. It is not too significant but still we don't want inaccurate information.

Thank you for all the advice on motion sickness. I did learn a lot from passenger's past experiences and knowledge. I plan to consult with my GP prior to sailing.

Taking a Med. cruise in May and not anticipating rough waters. We would like to be prepared just in case. Can anyone recommend either a brand name of a patch or a wrist band that has worked for them. Amazon has a lot of choices but hoping for a recommendation of one that may have worked well. Our cruise in December in the Caribbean was a bit rough but we survived without patches or bands so usually isn't an issue for us.

Papa and Fudge, you are both funny! We have never been asked by either friends or family about the cost of a Regent cruise and I doubt we would be comfortable disclosing that information. Couldn't agree more with what your father said Fudge about that you can't take it with you. My DH tells our kids that we are spending their inheritance 🙂!!

I have been in touch with our hotel in Barcelona regarding an early check for our one night stay prior to our cruise. They have very kindly responded requesting our hotel reservation number so this can be noted. Is there a hotel reservation number anywhere on our account, if so I wasn't able to find it. If we are not able to check in early then I was told our luggage can be left in the " Left luggage office". I am not sure how comfortable we are about that...thoughts?

Thank you all for the suggestions for Barcelona in an afternoon. We are hoping to find a tour that would take us to both Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell picking us up at our hotel and dropping us back. Since this will be our first visit to Barcelona, we are just a bit hesitant relying on cabs and or public transport.

jeb_bud, that is probably what we will do. Did you do Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia on your own or did you have a prearranged tour? We are supposed to get into Barcelona early morning as well.

We have never been to Barcelona and will more than likely want to return. Since we arrive in the morning and have to get to our hotel, we only have a half day to have a look around! So much to see in only a few short hours... any suggestions would more than appreciated.

We will be reserving our times for Splendor's three specialty restaurants in a few days. I believe the time slots start at 6:30 and run every half hour after that. Looking for opinions as to preferable times to reserve if we would like to take in the evening entertainment ( 9:30 ), have a relaxed dinner without having lots of time in between dinner and the show. Sometimes us older folks tend to peter out LOL! Also, we do enjoy meeting other people and hope to be able to do that as well at a sharing table which we do plan to indicate. All thoughts appreciated.

Looking for advice on Casablanca. It is one of the ports on our May cruise and we have booked Highlights of Casablanca. I happened to notice on a FB Regent page someone mentioned concerns about the safety along with other issues ( all not so great) of the port. Thinking we might cancel and stay aboard....thought appreciated.

We will be on a fourteen day cruise ( Splendor) and would like to know how many specialty restaurant reservations will we be able to make. I understand that we are able to make more than the allotted number once on board. Our dinning reservations open soon and I want to be ready with our choices based on our excursions etc. Thank you

Looking for any input on deck 6 in suite 661 on the Splendor. We have only been on two Regent cruises and both have been deck 7 more mid ship. I believe the tenders are located on deck 5 not to far from the suite will this be an issue?

Hoping that someone can tell us about the temperatures on board the Splendor in the Compass Rose , specialty restaurants, lounges, hallways etc. Do they lean toward being chilly? Trying to decide if a light sweater is usually needed for dinning. Packing begins shortly.

Thank you for that list Flossie. I enjoy a gin and tonic however I prefer drinking Diet Tonic ( save the calories for the food 😋 ) and I did not see that on the list. We sail on the Splendor in a week so how would I go about making this request?

Pcardad, thanks for the quick response. We will be on the lookout for the Regent sign. Wendy, yes our flight and hotel were part of the Concierge suite we booked.

We will be flying into Miami the day before our cruise and staying at the Hotel Intercontinental. Since it has been a few years since our one and only Regent cruise (Europe) we are unsure as to how we will be met at the airport to get to our hotel. Any information would be appreciated.

PaulaJK, We are now truly excited. We both love Stone crab claws and used to get them often when we lived in FL. Counting down the days.
