  1. As stated before, one only needs to have 5-6 alcoholic drinks per day to break even. I, myself, will usually have 4-5 alcoholic drinks per day while on a cruise. On top of that I will also have a couple of specialty coffees, tea, a couple of waters, perhaps another bottled tea. After that, I am getting more than my money’s worth. As for my drinking habits at home...I never have a drink through the week. I may have 1 drink on the weekend and perhaps a glass or two of wine. The OP is obviously assuming that people who buy Cheers are drunks. They are not.
  2. That’s the point. After we paid $50 we expected a lovely time relaxing in our loungers. Instead we had to listen to arguing among the vendors and having the beer cooler lid on my lounger...constantly moving my legs so he could put it there, having bags of ice smashed down beside me. It just wasn’t the relaxing day we had envisioned and that we have had in the past. Far more aggressive this time.
  3. On other visits to Grand Turk we have always gone to Jacks Shack or taken the unbellas in the back. We were there on Feb 1 as well and we were scooted right over to the front row. We thought...ok, might as well. Then before we knew it we were paying the guy $50 for two loungers and an umbrella. They then set up their coolers full of beer right next to my lounger...they had arguments and they actually put their cooler lid on my lounger while I was sitting in it. I told them they were making it hard for me to relax. The men didn’t seem to care. Finally my husband told them to knock it off and they moved the coolers behind our chairs...big improvement. Carnival needs to get this under control. Our next cruise is stopping at Grand Turk and we will be heading back over to Jacks Shack!
