  1. Paradise and Elation are the safest due to them having azipods instead fixed propellers like the other 6. They won’t pull that many ships from one brand, Diamond, Sapphire, Crown and Ruby are still fairly young and much bigger then the ships Carnival Corp is letting go, wouldn’t make any sense unless they are shuffled to a different brand in house. If anything they will lose Sun and probably Pacific and keep Sea for a bit. I also don’t understand why people think Princess would get rid of Diamond/Ruby which I get they received negative press but if any brand was going to change their name it would have been Costa and they didn’t so I don’t suspect Princess would. I would also imagine Holland America will lose one if not both S Class ships.
  2. 13 Ships in Total: Previously announced ships: Costa Atlantica, Mediterranea, Pacific Aria and Pacific Dawn Costa Victoria and Oceana, plus 3 unnamed and now 2-3 more have agreements reached.
  3. One of the trackers says Curaçao is her destination, I wonder if it’s to pick up fuel for a run across the pond.
  4. Costa’s Mediterranea and Atlantic are being transferred to a joint Carnival owned Chinese based line but that’s old news. neoRomantica isn’t sold yet but could be, a very now odd vessel to sell off after what they did to it. Prior to COVID, Carnival didn’t announce what they were doing with Fantasy but I’d assume sold but still not confirmed. So far confirmed: 1) Costa Victoria 2) Oceana (P&O) Aria and Dawn I think are considered old news and not among these 6. No one really knows till they confirm it or just keep checking the sites and see which ship is disappearing over time I.e Oceana, surprised about Oceana being the youngest of the 4 Sun class ships. But if they don’t start sailing soon, there will be more than just these 6.
  5. Per John’s Facebook: CARNIVAL FASCINATION TO MOVE TO MOBILE IN 2022 MIAMI (Feb. 18, 2020) – Carnival Cruise Line today announced that Carnival Fascination will move from its current homeport of San Juan, PR and be based in Mobile, Ala., effective Jan. 16, 2022. Carnival Fantasy will continue its popular four- and five-day cruise schedule from Mobile through January 2022, at which time Carnival Fascination, will pick up the itineraries. In conjunction with today’s announcement, Carnival Fascination itineraries from Mobile will open for sale later today. Guests currently booked on Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Fascination through January 2022 will not be affected and voyages will operate as planned. “Carnival Fascination will bring some exciting new features to the Mobile market, including a greater variety of balcony accommodations, a Bonsai Sushi Express venue, the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar and a Cherry On Top sweets shop,” said Fred Stein, Carnival’s vice president of revenue planning and deployment. “We have worked with the Mobile community over the last several years to successfully build demand and create this opportunity for a newer ship to enter the market.” In the coming months, Carnival is expected to announce plans for Carnival Fantasy. In addition, its deployment team continues to evaluate options to return to San Juan after 2022 with a ship that can resume calls to eastern and southern Caribbean destinations currently served by Carnival Fascination. ——— Lots of news there and I’m sure some of you will have questions about different parts of this information but at the moment I don’t have any more to share with you but of course I will as soon as I can. Great news for Mobile. Cheers
  6. Sunrise is going to Miami in 2022 i see, other interesting cruise is that Roundtrip Hawaii sailing, I’m sure they will sprinkle some unique ones with the announcement....hopefully....
  7. Royal is bringing Oasis & Freedom NCL will have Joy & Breakaway It may end up being both Magic & Sunrise.
  8. I did Alaska once with Princess and had a great time, we’ve alternated between both cruise lines over the years, both have perks. Though on your first time around Glacier Bay is a must, though I think Carnival has no permits and/or is banned for the next 10 or so years whenever they renew permits, as stated Princess/HAL due to their long term standing with the area get special permission or extra permits. If you get there on a second go around then I’d say go back to Carnival. Though those 10 day sailings on the Miracle with some of the more unique stops might back up for no Glacier Bay.
  9. Hopefully they iron out the kinks when they refurbish the Victory into the Radiance.
  10. This was at the end of the letter, I wonder what the special cruises will be.
  11. They are already loaded on the site, I was able to check prices for the Greek Isles cruises yesterday.
  12. Both could come to NY honestly, next year Legend, Sunrise, Radiance and Mardi Gras have sailings. Fascination while smaller is different so I’d still try it. NY is the last thing to basically announce.
  13. Almost all the ships have been announced for 2021 now, expect for Magic, Sunrise and Fascination, hoping we get the Magic.
