  1. I can confirm...we did for my upcoming sailing!
  2. Don't know if its the norm or not...But I love sweet pickles. No way I would have returned them!!😂
  3. You have several options...I have heard there are some hotels which will hold your luggage for a small fee. Also several years ago we stored our luggage at Miami International. There was a luggage holding area between concourses. Can't recall the cost.
  4. According to another poster, who is on Seascape this week, the snack buffet layout has returned in Top Sail
  5. College Spring Break starts 2/24 and runs thru Easter.... Also its not unusual for parents to pull their HS/Grade school kids out for a week if they get a good deal. I would plan on many families
  6. GoldenBonny.. Considering Deck 8 is the largest internal common space, with many activities, eateries, bars, etc.... the locations you mentioned are likely the quietest of any area over that floor...You should be fine forward or aft
  7. Yea!!! We sail next week!!
  8. Happens quite frequently in Miami ...MSC terminal probably not ready until Spring 2024. Terminal C is the usual spot....but no guarantee
  9. We will be sailing on Seascape next week. I must say I am pretty impressed with MSC's pre cruise communication emails. I have cruised MSC Seaside 2x previously (both times in YC) pre-Covid. I do not recall the frequencies of emails on my prior cruises. In addition to receiving 2 separate Upgrade emails... Received the usual 3 week out Cruise ticket email which provided me with everything I needed for embarkation; Friday I received another Cruise Ticket (VSN Docs) email. This morning I received "Personalize your experience" from Yacht Club Butler Director requesting my choices for pillows, alcohol for mini-bar (2 choices) and newspaper. Of course...Still witholding judgement until I see if they actually deliver on my choices!!😂 I do not recall receiving the last 2 emails on my other YC cruises. However with some of the hit and miss reports from other readers on similar communication.... I was pleasantly surprised by the continued communication "pre-cruise" by MSC
  10. Thats why i only cruise YC on MSC … its YC or bust!
  11. Magnifica is a smaller ship and holds approx 1000 less passengers than Divina. Also no Yacht Club
  12. To be honest...he probably would have a better chance going that route then dealing with MSC😂
  13. Just grab a blanket and watch the movie shown up top on the Pool deck.
  14. You can't be serious??? Ships are on a set time and its the busiest day of each voyage. Over 5000 passengers. This is just another launch of many. The importance has waned over the years as it has become a regular occurence
  15. Being only a 3 day cruise.... You will likely not have to worry about crowds since your in YC. You will be spoiled and not want to leave other than see a show or two. Their ship within a ship concept and amenities is brillent
  16. From my past experience on 2 YC cruises.... Woman seemed to dress up more then the men. It ranged from Tux's (few) to polo's and slacks for the men to mostly dresses and some gowns by woman. Most men had a sports jacket with no tie
  17. I am cruising Seascape next week.... On my purchase options it shows 1 device -browse pricing out at $111.93 and 1 device - browse and stream at 139.93
  18. WE are cruising on Seascape, in YC, over Thanksgiving week. Have previously cruised on Seaside in YC 2 times (2018 and 2019) Ill try and provide comparisons after cruise...However I expect some cutbacks (as previously reported post Covid).
  19. Yes,,If your in YC..disregard the baording time assigned to you. Showing up between 10:30 and 11 has always worked well for us with minimal waiting to board
  20. Nope...There is a reason why YC is inclusive. I don't care if my spouse doesn't join me.... that doesn't mean I can or would want to substitute a non YC guest. There are other restaurant venues on ship where YC and non YC passengers can eat together
  21. Yes.... It is an inclusive area...Ship within ship concept. With the exception of going to a show or getting off ship at ports.... you have everything you need to be pampered with out leaving this area if you choose (Restaurant, Bars, Pool deck, Concierge, your own Butler, etc). It is more expensive...but cheaper than other similar type areas on other lines (i.e Celebrity Reflections and NCL Haven).
  22. Obviously you haven't stayed in Yacht Club..... Best value at Sea with top notch service
  23. I would suggest you look at other lines.... to meet your daughters excursion needs. Other lines offer 4/5 night cruises which include stops at Cozumel and Costa Maya. She would be able to see wildlife and cultural learning. Not saying Ocean Cay is bad...but its really a beach/snorkeling stop. Then again she may meet friends to hangout with and have a blast.
  24. I am cruising over Thanksgiving week and have received 2 separate upgrade bid emails in last month. I am in YC and it is full. On a previous MSC YC cruise I also received a upgrade bid..... I was told MSC uses this as a marketing tool as well and keeps a record of your cabin type interests. Don't be surprised if you get a decline email as you are waiting in line to board. This happened to me on our last cruise!!
