We, like many of you, have been to Cozumel several times. We’ve been to a couple of the Beach Clubs like Paradise Beach and Mr. Sanchos.
We enjoyed our time there. But I’m hearing more and more about Resort Day Passes so I’m considering researching some of those for Cozumel on our next cruise.
I would appreciate any thoughts or recommendations re this.

Note: It sounds like many people have passports now. But some don’t. On our last cruise out of Galveston we had passports and the passport line was nonexistent. Very quick.
But the birth certicate line was so long I was told it was taking up to an hour to get thru.
What a difference having a passport makes.
I too woke up to the news of the global tech travel nightmare last Friday.
Ironically one of my first thoughts was that we always fly out the day before our cruises and more likely than not it’s on a Friday.
We would have been devastated.
Yes, travel insurance would help a lot.
You can immediately go to your muster station as soon as you board the ship. Once there you check in, listen to Carnival rep for about 2 minutes and you’re done. Don’t have to wait on others.
Just FYI. The actual interior square footage for the interior cabin and the balcony cabin may be the same.
Of course, the total square footage for the balcony cabin will be more because the balcony square footage will be added to the balcony cabin inside space.
I get around this by just listing cash as the payment method and then switching to a card at the Port check in.
You could do that for your brother-in-law.
The rules may have changed. I would check with your travel agent.
Last week I deleted a person from our cabin just before final payment was due and there were no penalties at all. Carnival recalculated the rate and I paid the new balance due.
