You are getting the Grandpa of the Year Award! Really. I am very impressed with your dedication to your grand kids and enjoy reading about your adventures. I have also noted that boarding times mostly seem to be starting at 11 or 11.30 these days. Icon is from Miami? Will you park at the port or Uber? I keep reading about traffic nightmares at the port but I am sure you will be well prepared.

If there is one thing I REALLY miss in Florida it is Wegman's! We have Whole Foods, Sprouts, food from anywhere in the world, you name it, but no Wegman's 😒.

For Dh and I the drinks do not make any sense. I am a complete teatotaller and Dh will have wine or Bailey's occasionally so most is covered with Elite plus perks. And the Al Bacio coffee/cappucinos,lattes (all non alcoholic except water) are covered.

CC Discounts and sales are not stackable. Call them for rate with CC discount. Then see which one is greater and go accordingly. Sometimes the sale is good, some times the CC discount is greater. And in rare cases they give you a (good) number that you can't figure out their math and let that be because it is just fantastic.... For example we were quoted a 6/day basic Wifi and then an equally small upgrade to premium which (in total) worked out wayyyyy better than any sale price. So do your math and then call.

Good for you! However, do go to cruisedeckplans and check out your Prime cabin location and what is over and under you. Sometimes we find that those prime cabins, (especially the ones in A1) in very undesirable locations on certain class of ships and the slant balconies are far better.
