  1. We are going to be there on the little Jewel with Big Mama Harmony across the dock.
  2. YESSSSS! That is where the water tower is: Publix, Greek cafe, Jo's etc etc in that whole "what you may call it'. I go there often. I love the Greek cafe. How are you enjoying the Wyndham?
  3. Olivia's? Nevermind, I think I am just very hungry for Olivia's.🤣 This looks like seafood. Jo's crab shack? And can I guess the one on 192 by the water tower? I am having having SO much fun with this!
  4. We are going to be in a deck 8 aft on the Jewel in March. Very excited about it, since I have not had an aft balcony on this class of ships.
  5. Hope it comes with this wonderful gentleman who we have been reading about in your posts!🤣🤣😁
  6. I completely understand that! I love Disney too and it is a nostalgic place for me. I do not frequent it now although it is at my doorstep in the winter and some other times a year. But I still love it and will be a fan. Yes, the prices are very high now for anyone buying tickets. We use passes if and when available.
  7. Not that I am aware of re masks. Was told that new crew getting on board has to wear them for 5 days, then their choice. Smaller ships do not require show reservations. Not too hard to book restaurants. Hopefully you are considering cruising again. See you on the Jewel?😃
  8. Eat Malva Pudding for me. I am just going to chill out on my balcony today. I am very familiar with the Texas on 192. We went to 4Rivers BBQ at the loop last night.
  9. We live in NJ also. Our home has the hot water tank and furnace on the upper floor in the laundry room right over the dining room table. Not a good location at all. Have had so much difficulty hauling old/new laundry machines and equipment up and down, not only for us but also for service people. Boo to the person who designed it that way. I haven't looked into the tankless heater but will be interested.
  10. Love that orchid plant. It is lovely and blooming! Prefer a pIant to a vase of flowers. Didn't know you could take one on board?
  11. I have had a very good experience with acupuncture on board. I am very familiar with acupuncture. MIL was certified and used to practice it. I had the therapy for pain relief on one ship for a few sessions, it worked, continued it at home. I met the same doctor on another ship and had a couple of sessions for something else. Everything was explained at the start, cost, how many sessions on ship, how to continue if needed etc. She gave me a chart to show what was done, which meridians were used, etc, down to the number and type of needles used. Never did any hard selling. Nothing is relieved in one session, except maybe sea sickness or a pulled muscle. Requires number of sessions and patience.
