  1. I completely agree that the most important part of all of this is the safety of those who were in the hurricane's path and the true tragedy is all who were affected and sadly lost their lives in the hurricane. It does put all of this in perspective. I just got off the phone with Royal Caribbean and after another hour on the phone all is correct and the amount they still owe me should be posted in 7-10 days. Now I can spend this on the cruise we have booked for May 🙂
  2. I'm having trouble getting my money refunded too. I cancelled on August 30 and was told it would take 7-10 days for my precruise on board charges to be refunded. Last Thursday, September 12 i was refunded the the gratuities and taxes and port charges. I was also refunded about $600 which didn't add up to any combination of my charges to be refunded. I called and after being on the phone for almost an hour, was told that the charges are refunded piecemeal but the very nice person I talked to said all my credits were in the process of being refunded to my credit card. She told me it would take a few days. Yesterday when I still hadn't received any more refunded I called again and after about 30 minutes of waiting I was told that they were investigating my refund. I'm losing my patience. I told the rep you have over $2,000 of my money and now you're investigating. Then he told me about $1,500 had been refunded to my credit card yesterday. Hopefully that shows up in my credit card statement today. Even with what has supposedly been refunded, it still doesn't add up to what should be refunded so they are investigating...again. It should not take 3 weeks for me to get my money back, especially when I got my FCC 2 days after I cancelled.

  4. We canceled the 9/1 Harmony on 8/30. Received the FCC a few days later. Last week the gratuities and port fees and taxes were refunded to our credit card. Still waiting for the other charges (drink packages, CocoCay cabana, internet, Chops, etc) to be refunded. It's frustrating that it is taking so long to get our other charges refunded.
  5. I booked a Thrillpark cabana yesterday and was confused about passes too so I called. I was told the same as mentioned above. Book in one name and up to 6 will get waterpark passes. I like having a cabana since it is a place to hang out and get shade so when the price was right (to coin a phrase 🙂) I jumped on it.
  6. I just booked this for our Harmony cruise in May. Do we get a full day pass for just one person or for all 4 of us for the $499?
  7. I realize this is very subjective but I'll ask anyways...what deck and what location would you recommend for a Boardwalk cabin on Harmony? We were booked on the 9/1 Harmony that was shortened due to Hurricane Dorian and now have FCC (Future Cruise Credit) to use. We'd like to book a Boardwalk cabin and Ocean View Balcony cabin across from each other but I can't figure out if there is a deck or location on that deck that is best for a Boardwalk cabin. Normally I like being closer to the stairs or elevator as opposed to being way towards the back of the shop but is being closer to the action in the middle or further towards the back better for a Boardwalk Cabin? Thanks for advice
  8. We used Spain Day Tours last October for Barcelona, Cartagena, Malaga, and Tenerife. Marta was our tour guide in Barcelona also. I highly recommend Spain Day Tours-great communication before the tours, wonderful guides and drivers, and very reasonably priced.
  9. We were in 3036 and my sister in law and brother in law were in 3038 on Viking Sea earlier this summer. We never heard any noise from above, below, or around us. I thought we'd hear the elevators or people on the stairs but we never did. The rooms are in a great location-easy access to the gangway and restaurants. And not too far from the World Cafe or Explorers Lounge. I'd book either of those rooms again.
  10. From what I read on a post awhile ago, all confirmations for cabanas say "Cabana E". I think it is a placeholder and the actual cabana is preassigned.
  11. Thanks for the map. Over a year ago I booked an Oasis Lagoon Cabana for our September cruise. I paid $399 and I thought that was expensive. Now it's up to $1,299. Yikes!
  12. Another vote for Park Cafe-yummy roast beef sandwich!
  13. We're going to be there in September so I've been soaking up any info I can get. On a well known social media site search for CocoCay-The Perfect Day. Lots of info and videos.
  14. We did Homelands this year late April/early May. Overall it was pretty cold but not unbearable. I wore a puffy coat (not down) that I got on Amazon, a hat, and gloves most days and was fine. I also wore a warm weather UnderArmour shirt as my first layer some days. We only had rain one day and some days were cloudy. Most days were sunny but cold but truly not bad. I'd go again a this time of year.
  15. Following also since we'll be on Harmony Sept 1 with the same itinerary. Have a wonderful time!
