  1. Has anyone purchased this pre-cruise package. If so, what did you think of it. We will be on the Majestic, leaving Aukland on 10/23/18 and would like to stay a day or two before the cruise. Any into you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Thank you for the information. I am happy with my cabin choice and really looking forward to this cruise. My first time to Australia/NZ! Would like to find some private tours for the cruise portion of this trip.
  3. Thank you so much! You have put my mind at ease and it appears that this is a pretty good cabin! I was thinking of changing it but now have decided to keep it!
  4. I haven't posted on this site for quite some time and if I'm in the wrong place for this, I apologize. Can anyone tell me about cabin L103 on the Majestic? I am wondering how bad the obstruction is on the balcony and if it's one of the cabins where the balcony can be used only when in port. Also, is the location really horrible. I appreciate any info you can provide!
  5. Harry, thank you so much for taking us along on your cruise; it was very enjoyable. I, too, was on the inaugural TA as so many of you were. I'll never forget how long the laundry took but even more, was the fun we all had! Cio, Lynda
  6. Is it worth it? Absolutely! Since you enjoy cruising, then go for it. I love receiving the free laundry, internet, bar set-up, just to name a few that come to my mind. Enjoy it--you will have earned it. I always feel it's the ones who are not Elite that say it's not worth it. :p
  7. We are going to the Mexican Riviera for 10 days. Great suggestions! I use packing bags which hold my tops and undies. The bags are soft with zippers around them and can be stored in any space available. I am a bit worried about space after reading all the great suggestions. :p
  8. Thank you all so much; so many helpful responses. What a great group of people! I feel much better about our choice to share the cabin. I think we will be fine. Especially after reading all the answers here! :p:p
  9. Not feasible for any of us to climb up to bunk. Maybe 10 years ago! :p
  10. Thanks for your quick responses. Forgot to mention that we are looking at the Ruby. Would it be feasible to ask our cabin steward to remove the egg crate in the morning and put it back on in the evening, or would this be too much to ask?
  11. What are some of your thoughts on 3 women who are planning on sharing a mini-suite? I'd love to hear from some you who have done this. Is it doable without feeling cramped? Thanks for your help! :p
