  1. He does take business class and even with the lay flat seats it's still very long and the jet lag is something else! Food service is good, they have a program called "book the cook" where you can pre-order from a lot of different meals. Large screen tvs with lots of entertainment. In flight wifi. I'm not sure which is worse the JFK fight which leaves at night or the Newark flight which leaves in the morning ( we opted for Newark so we can spend New Years Eve in Singapore)
  2. My husband takes it for work and we are booked on it for our January cruise. It's an ultra long range A350 with only 161 seats in business and premium econ only

  4. we use the apps dayuse, resortpass and resortforaday
  5. We either rent a car for the day with drop off at airport or we book a hotel day pass
  6. Exactly! We now live in the entitled narcissistic world of "I paid for my vacation so you can't tell me what to do". It's too late for Celebrity to close Pandora's box now....
  7. Enjoying this thread and all of the info. We have about 24 hours in Singapore before we head on to Bali to board our cruise.
  8. Last time I was on Epic there was a climbing wall and mini golf, both under the smoke stacks. Never once saw the climbing wall open or the mini golf being used ( i didn't see any clubs or balls around either) 🤷‍♀️
  9. You took someone's suitcase that they had placed outside of their cabin the night before?
  10. I put 2 suitcases outside the cabin the night before disembarkation while in Haven. Only 1 made it into the terminal. NCL, the terminal, Lost & Found all did not give a #@$%. I was able to file with my travel insurance and get some reimbursement for all of my lost items.
  11. Why should you be granted an exception? What about 4 days late, 6 days late? 30 days is the rule... not 31 or 33 or 35....
  12. I didn't even get a response to the email I sent.....
  13. I'm a nurse and we use the Yellow Book at work to help people navigate the recommendations... https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/page/yellow-book-resources#destinations
  14. I just flew into/out of LAX and sailed out of San Pedro in April. Uber was fast and easy and only about $55 for 3 people and 3 suitcases.
  15. I would love his whatsapp or other contact info. We are arriving 2 days prior to our January cruise and would love to make a private itinerary. Thanks
  16. It is well known across most cruise lines on this site that the customer service reps are the least informed/ least knowledgeable. They read from a script and anything outside of that they just spit out an answer to get to the next call.
  17. The cruise is allowed because it starts and ends in LA (San Pedro). It can't start in LA and end in SD without going to a distant foreign port, which as others have said, is not anywhere in Mexico.
  18. this form appears to be for Australia? Were you on an Australian cruise?
  19. The different answers are because the reps are not properly trained and/or do not actually understand what you are asking. Even if you try to "sneak" off the ship as others are suggesting once the ship realizes you're not coming back the fine will still be posted to your account.
  20. I feel the same. I have sailed NCL, Royal, Carnival and Celebrity since the re-start and they are all cutting back on service, amenities, menu items etc. I have never once looked at what someone else is wearing and thought to myself "my cruise is ruined". If one wants a true "luxury" experience they should look to Cunard, Oceania, Regent etc
  21. I just sailed Solstice (Mexican Riviera) with my son and when I did the online check in realized his passport was expiring at the end of the month. No problems but I did have his birth cert as back up.
  22. Nice to see her. Was on her in November and March out of San Juan and booked for Bali in January!
  23. I usually do 1 Carnival girls cruise a year (we are in our 50s, friends since high school.) We were just in a Havana cabana cabin on Horizon in October and we decided that we have definitely aged out of the shenanigans on Carnival. They do make the best pizza of all the cruise lines and Guy's Burgers is delicious. Our havana cabana cabin was cute and we liked the private area but it was taken over every day by a huge drunk rowdy group traveling together and the main pool area is a joke. Disembarking at the ports is a hot mess as well and the drunk pier runners are a sight to behold!! . We'll stick to Celebrity and the The Haven on NCL where it's more calm and serene.
