  1. My husband and I will be visiting beginning of April during our carnival cruise-we will be not doing a shore excursions during this port. I am trying to decide if we should go to both sides of the island or stay on one side and if so which side. We plan to walk around and take in the sights, shop and have lunch at a local restaurant. I would love some input -it will be our first time there together. I went years ago and did a shore excursion on a snorkel trip.
  2. There is some shops and restaurants at the top? Do you stand or sit on the sky ride?
  3. We are heading to St. Thomas beginning in April via Carnival ship, we are debate on during this on our port day, thoughts? we plan to just relax in town for the day and do some shopping. Worth doing?
  4. good tip. We purchased a fire insulin wallet-thanks for your suggestion
  5. That helps-I was looking for how to get there -sounds like I just need to take a cab to the airprort. Sounds like we can visit local restaurants and store and spend some time on the beach
  6. This is interesting, now I want to try it as well
  7. I am wondering about what the boardwalk is you are speaking of?
  8. Thanks I will check it out. We just found out all of this Thursday so we haven't had a chance to education ourselves very much. He skipped the step of just needing meds unfortunately and went directly to insulin
  9. Valid point LOL -we are on the Fascination, we are cruising out of San Juan PR-we have an interior cabin
  10. Hey Everyone, I have cruised many times with carnival but never needed a fridge so I cant remember if the rooms have them. We just found out my husband is diabetic and has to have insulin daily. The insulin has to be put in the fridge for storage. Anyone have any ideas? We are staying in an interior room. It will also be our first time flyer with meds so that will be different
  11. My husband and I love to try local specialities. We are cruising from San Juan PR to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and Barbados during the beginning of April. What are the island specialities in regards to food & drinks? Are there some best of places we should try?
  12. I believe its based on ship tour because Carnival has a shore tour with that name
  13. We have cruised before but never been to most of these islands. We are trying to decide which islands we need to do shore excursions and which we can just hang around port. We enjoy going to distilleries and seeing historical sites. My hubby isn't a huge fan of beach days so I can only probably talk him into one day of that. Anyone have any suggestions?
  14. How long are you at the mud baths? There are showers after the mud baths to "clean up"
