Whogo Live from Volendam, 42 days, November 9, 2024
leafsnation replied to whogo's topic in Holland America Line
Thanks for the updates. We are on board for the 2025 version of this cruise from NYC Oct 2025. After drydock did they add a BBKings or Rolling Stone Lounge ?? Maybe only on the big ships. Anyone have a VC category vista suite on deck 7? What are they like after dry dock? Bob -
Thanks. Bob

I installed the stockperks app and downloaded a pic of my brokerage statement for Holland America. I didnt see where you added a booking number or sailing. I wonder how they match that sailing is October 2025. Guess watch email they say three days for a confirmation. Any tips appreciated. Bob

We stayed at LaQuinta on 8th ave. Good location walking distance to Pikes Market and Space Needle and close to a HOHO stop. Bob

As long as you get crew appreciation included its a good deal. Bob

Just booked Canal April 2026 and got HIA with gratuities, Well worth it for a 22 day voyage and wifi and beverage package. Did HAL change the beverage package to 15 alcohol drinks a day and unlimited non alcohol drinks. I know a lotta people werent happy when a water counted as one of the 15 a day. Why drink water when you can have a beer dont make sence. Bob

Loyalty levels from other Carnival Corp owned lines
leafsnation replied to Griller's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We are 4 star on HAL but loyalty isnt transferrable between lines. Maybe put a notion through for CCL annual meeting> Celeberity and RCL status match loyalty. Bob -
thats good to know that gift shop thought you were getting off the next day and not staying on for a b2b. Saves a lot not getting cheers for second leg. On first leg I would stock up on unopened beers. Bob

One day $1. Deposit Promo Disappointing.
leafsnation replied to retird's topic in Holland America Line
Missed the $1 deposit yesterday! Looking at Oct 2026 Canal FLL to Vancouver. Sent TA an email today for a quote who knows maybe TA can swing the buck deposit. Really pay now pay later dont matter. Always book early to get HIA with grats included. Grats are huge especially on long cruises Bob -
Dont know if its true but I heard mass was being continued for the longer cruises? Bob
-
Carnival not our line of choice but have found there casino offers are above other lines just pay $200 and get that back as OBC and port taxes and fees and balconies, Bob
-
If price happens to drop again before final payment can get fare reduced. Just keep checking. Bob

Just sign up at guest services day you need it good for 24 hours. Bob

Casino Points Earning & Drinks On Us - Changes
leafsnation replied to bugeater2's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
$4.000 for free drinks in casino and lose more. Cheaper stay out and buy cheers! LOL But we never do but cant beat just paying taxes and port fees for balcony cruises. What we lose works out to regular price of cruise. Not sure if its just me but dont matter where you play all tighter after covid??? bob -
Hot hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hours
leafsnation replied to Will_Dieterich's topic in Holland America Line
A lot has changed since start up after covid. Saving the $$$. Also a lot less crew than before! Remember the show buffets in the 70s with ice sculptures and butter sculptures. Bob -
Thanks for the info wont put it for it thats what we have for 4 cruises the $200 fare and $200 OBC. Bob
-
Will CCL allow the OBC on casino cruises. Bob
