I get it. I just checked and we have 5 sea days out of 17. I like hanging out in the cabin and reading on those "off" days rather than hunting for a place to drop and chill. If it's a port-intensive trip; I'd consider a balcony or deluxe balcony. Miss those old chairs in the cabin....guess they found a way to make us upgrade 🥴

We really liked being in a mini after spending most of our cruises in a balcony room or deluxe balcony. We loved the extra room and the spaciousness of the tub when showering. We didn't find it slippery and had no issues. I know a balcony is less expensive but this can be a nice upgrade. We've already booked another one for our cruise around Norway next summer!

I only take my cold water wash to the laundry room to do myself. The other clothes that can be done in their industrial machines are sent out for Princess to do as we get free laundry service (as Elites).

My husband has it in his personal account w/Fidelity. He pulls up his month-end statement and finds the page w/the CCL stock on it. He then prints to PDF only that page which includes his name and account number. He prints it out and redacts the acct # and then scans to send it off to our TA to send to Princess. He's done it for many years now with no issue.

Agree. I created a spreadsheet for each of our ports and made notes on much of what I found on whatsinport.com. That site does provide links to several vendors in some of the towns I was exploring. Our cruise isn't until June 2024 as well but want to be ready to pull the trigger when tours become available. I have also borrowed a current tour guide from my local library and also am "following" several roll calls with stops in the same places such as the Sky Princess "Land of the Midnight Sun" cruise in August of this year. Plenty of places to find information if you dig around a bit.

Learn something new every day! We typically send some out but always do my own "hand-wash" type laundry in the LR as I don't put everything in the dryer. Thanks for sharing your experience.

You no longer get your own body lotion to use/keep but they do have some in the cabins that get refilled when low. Bathrobes always available on request with no problem.

We had issues with this on EZAir flights where we could only get economy. Thought we could then go directly to the airline (United) to upgrade to economy + on a 15 hour flight. They wouldn't allow any changes as they were "bucket" flights purchased by EZAir at a discount. We learned a hard lesson and won't make that mistake again.

Odd as when we were on there last month there was NO announcement of the deck name. Sure it wasn't just my cruise...

Majestic also uses numbers only. I am so accustomed to hearing "Deck 12..Aloha" that when they just announce the number I say "Aloha.." or whatever. Too many Princess cruises....

Hmmm....I'll keep my eyes open for when Princess will offer US residents a cruise from the UK with the U$D at par with the British Pound....🤞

We were on for 20 days in December and I was able to get books at the Guest Services desk. I wouldn't have known but I saw one of the GS people pulling books out for someone else. Never had a problem getting a decent book. I am an avid reader...

No worries but I can share that it had me bid more than made sense and I ended up pulling one bid and was never notified about the other...

That showed up when I put in a bid for a December cruise back in the early fall.

I think the destination may have a lot to do with pricing and potential price drops. I booked a Greenland cruise in May '21 when it was 1st released for Elites. The cruise is this August and the price continues to drop. We've saved more than $1,500 total after re-faring twice and picked up an additional $200 OBC. This cruise appears to have a considerable amount of availability after being offered for almost two years.

Their transit is incredibly cheap. We arrived 10 days prior to the Island and spent 3 days in Sydney. We took a r/t ferry to Manly and the train(s) r/t to the Blue Mountains (2+ hrs each way) and the local bus around the Blue Mountains. After all of that for 3 days; we were charged $11.72USD for all of the transportation. Wow!

Happy that you were able to make the Treaty Grounds. We had to skip Bay of Islands and Fjordlands on the Majestic a few weeks ago after the bad storms then. It looks like Gabrielle is now a tropical storm and hope it doesn't cause too much mayhem for you. We were supposed to be aboard with you but had a change of plans. Following to enjoy every minute of your trip.

Still haven't received one either. On our 21st cruise at the moment. Longest cruise was a 20 day in December ~ not sure what we've missed.... 4 a.m. seems a bit harsh ~ why not 6 a.m. on a sea day? Beats 4 a.m.

Looks like what we're seeing here on Majestic. Been twice on this cruise.

They will give you a slip of paper stating "In Transit" to use when you re-board the ship so that you don't go through the standard check-in line. Easy peasy.

Hmmm...we did get some upgraded toiletries on Enchanted in December. Also, currently on Majestic Princess and sent out a 2nd batch of laundry which is gratis. I'll take that as I also do my own laundry that I don't want in commercial laundry and I only do a load a week where I might have to do two! I don't buy their "package" as DH is not a drinker and not worth it to us. I'll take the mini bar, thank you!

I never got an answer for our Enchanted cruise in December so didn't bother for the current cruise in NZ/AU.

In the middle of the Tasman Sea at the moment heading to Tasmania/Australia and have been texting my sister in NY all afternoon with no issue. I have called using WhatsApp. I'm not a face time person but can confirm that wifi isn't always consistent.
