Correct John Heald does not make policy . He went to higher ups and they confirmed. We had no problem in Feb even though our time was 1 and we got there at 1030. Just saying.

Actually John Heald posted months ago that FTTF can actually show up when you like even if you have a late arrival time for check in.

We had it and our friends had it also on Horizon last month. We went straight to room to drop off with no problems. Our friends on another deck tried and they would not let them in even though they told him and showed him the FTTF on the paper. And they didn't push the issue either as I would have pushed the issue. That is part of the FTTF.

Exactly, that is why I make sure we book our cabin for the amount of people in it as this has been happening for years. Unfortunately this is not new.

No the room stewards do not get more. Since you remove the tips then they are required to share the tips just like the bar service and everyone else. It is all pooled.

Not a myth its a fact for some people . I have received the offer actually twice on 2 seperate cards. Not everyone gets the offer.

Just need to do your homework about the ships and cabins and ports and the time you go really makes a difference in cost and such.

We did this cruise on Crown Princess last April. And yes the ship for the days going and coming back were extremely rough for our sailing but we knew that would happen from reading what others have said. We were on the Grand almost 10 years ago and unless they did revamp it our group would not go on it again as it was aging back then. I would try to see if they had a newer ship going there with a few more things on it if I was bringing my kids. Just my opinion. But regardless the crew has always been top notch on all Princess ships that we have been on.

We always get the drink package and then use our 4 daily drinks to stock up on beer to put in our cabin so if we want to hang out on the balcony then we are all set.

No they should not have been changed unless they had gotten something on them.

There is free shuttle from hotel to cruise port. We just did this in April. They also will shuttle you around a 5 mile area to store or restaurants for free. This is for the Double tree in San Pedro.

Yes we did that also with Delta and they never charged us since we get free bags with our Sky Miles. I will go very smoothly.

Bottom line is a true gambler whether they smoke or not will still go to the casino. No matter if it is all non smoking or not.

If you have the drink package just order each drink at any of the bars. They are all good as I have tried them all with our drink package.

I would do either cruiseline. We love them both but I wouldn't do any of the older ships.

I check weekly and just had a price drop on our drink package for 62.99pp per day. So cancelled current price and rebooked. This just happened. So sales do happen anytime. Not just on Black Friday. Actually the last few Black Fridays there was no better deals to be made for our bookings. I find the deals at random times thru out the year.

Worked good for us . They happened to have drink package on sale yesterday that was cheaper then what we paid. So I cancelled and rebooked with my Amex Card.
