  1. Thank you for the suggestion. I did call the airport and got a very kind informed representative . There is a lounge outside of door 28 leaving the baggage area and customs that is in the area that the HA reps will be in the morning. Once you leave you cannot go back into the baggage area. She advised that I would certainly not be alone and it is a common space for travelers to overnight in the airport. They also have 3 - 24 hour eateries for food and drink. Dilemma solved and flight has been booked. Thanks again!
  2. I am doing a Holland America Cruise in October. I am looking at taking a late flight in and arriving Montreal between 1 and 2 AM. Will be doing the HA transfers from Montreal Airport to Quebec to pick up the cruise. My question: Is there a place in the baggage area or otherwise that I can hang for 6-8 hours to wait til morning. Is it safe for a loan traveler? Any place to get food or drink that you can go to and still get back in the baggage area to meeting HA reps in the morning. Thanks in advance!
  3. You are a winner either way. Tracy Arm is beautiful! The passages are much narrower than Glacier Bay so you get a much closer up close experience to land. Scenery is spectacular!. Even tho you don't see as many glaciers the one you see is absolutely beautiful. Have a wonderful Trip.
  4. What awesome pictures. Thank you sooooo much AryMay!!!!!! Lucky to have nabbed cabin 7086. I will be on her for the July 16, 2018 sailing and sure I will be enjoying every minute.
  5. Thank you for the remarks. I checked out the Volendam photos and also found photos of 7055 on the Amsterdam. Looks like 7086 is the less obstructed of the two by the stairway. Neither obstruction are of issue. Perfect location especially since they are small ships.
  6. Thanks for the responses! I did go ahead and book Memory Makers for the 3 hour tour. She was quite informative. Looking forward to it.
  7. Anyone stayed in ov cabin 7086 on the Zaandam? What is your opinion of the cabin and location? Thank you in advance!
  8. Has anyone used this tour company? What was your opinion of the 3 hour tour? Worth booking? Thank You!
  9. Budget Queen - I am headed to Alaska on the HA Sept 23 7 day cruise. Last minute as well. Ports Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan. Any suggestions which port and vendor would be the best in your experiences.
  10. I just got off of the 14 day HA Alaska in July and I am ready to go again. I was concerned about 14 days being too long but now 7 days seems awfully short. I would certainly go for the 14 day. It is nicely spread out between port days and sea days. Instead of the inside cabin you might want to consider an aft obstructed view cabin on the lower promenade or Navigation deck (only 2 on this deck) and you will be steps away from a covered back public deck.
  11. A few questions - trying to decide if I want to book one. - positives or negatives on these cabins last Alaska 2017cruise of the season. - positive or negatives in general - is veranda and cabin same size as the majority of the other verandas rooms - are they fully covered - anything special about these cabins that would be worth the cost? Thanks!

  13. The layout of the room looks very liveable for 14 days and I agree looks like a great spot. Thanks to all for the posts and comments!
  14. Fabulous photos.... Thank you SO MUCH!!! Think I am going to be very happy with the back deck. Very nice having the bed parallel with the window.
