  1. A friend booked a Royal Caribbean cruise and was given a seven page document listing all the requirements, including only doing ship excursions. So I guess they are all the same.
  2. I agree with the OP. But I'm seeing price rises across all lines, at least from Oz.
  3. Mine is easy......I am Rosie and I am from the Capital of Australia....Canberra 🙂
  4. I am elite on both lines, and I choose by itinerary. I would choose the Princess cruise because it is a longer cruise, it will be cheaper re airfare, and it's good to try something new. As the other posters have pointed out, both lines are similar. Although I might do the Celebrity cruise if it meant I was jumping a tier.
  5. Oh how sad, he will be greatly missed. RIP 😢
  6. Ours was a bit clunky, froze for a short time but was generally ok. I didn't take any screen shots though, so hopefully I have no issue re attending.
  7. I've sailed a few times with P&O and had the best time. Sometimes the ships have been a bit older but that's about the only difference. Drink prices are good, entertainment is good. The staff are happy. And they do the best sail away party of all the lines, especially if you sail from White Bay in Sydney and go out under the bridge.
  8. Me too! We're heading to Western Plains Zoo Dubbo in a few weeks 🙂
  9. Yes, we have that Princess booze cruise to look forward to in January 🙂
  10. Overall, I would rank Celebrity, Princess and HAL as 4/5 star, and Royal, Carnival and Norwegian 3/4 star. I have not cruised with MSC or Costa. As per your categories above: Entertainment/shows - Norwegian. On NCL Epic we had the Broadway production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and a Cirque tent experience. Both outstanding. Celebrity would be my second pick. Activities- this is a tough one, the Royal ships are geared towards families and have video game arcades, rock walls, mini golf, dodgem cars, flo rider, that giant arm that swings out, and the air flyer thing (sorry
  11. Not all lines have released 2023 NZ itineraries as yet so you may find something that works. For Sydney, there is so much to see and do, especially around Circular Quay. Walk around the Opera House and into the Botanic Gardens. Catch a ferry to Manly and follow the crowds along the Corso to the beach. Lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shopping, and wonderful views of the Bridge and Opera House from the ferry. You can buy Taronga Zoo tickets with your ferry ticket from Circular Quay, Taronga has the best views of any zoo.
  12. Oh wow, that was fabulous. I can't wait until November 2022 when I will sail Azamara for the first time.
  13. Oh wow! I can't believe people are actually stealing photos, how bizarre. We are going to attempt the challenge tonight, I think I will take a photo with us in it as well.
