  1. Hi--first time on MSC, and I understand I should activate my cruise card by self-registering my credit card at one of the kiosks on board. Information on the MSC website says I need to have a PIN number; this makes me think they run it as a cash advance (since typically that is the only time a PIN is needed for a credit card) Has anyone noticed if charges come through as cash advance or purchase on your credit card statement? (Maybe they require the PIN only for debit cards, but it really isn't clearly written) Thanks for any info!
  2. How does the charge show up form HAL Flight East on your credit card statement? Is it from HAL or from the airline? I am trying to determine which travel card card to use to get the most points. Thank you!
  3. I know this sounds like a stupid question, but are couples allowed to use the facilities together? I've been on another cruise line that had gender-specific areas (sauna, steam room). We'd like to enjoy the experience together. Thanks for any info!
  4. Good to hear they are still accepting cruise guests; I heard they were under construction, and wasn't sure if we would be able to visit them in April. Thanks for the information!
  5. Ship - Harmony of the Seas Deck - 14 Stateroom # - 14699 Stateroom Category – Boardwalk Balcony Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? No. This stateroom is below an area that is between the sports court and the ping pong tables. I didn't notice much noise during the day, but in the very early morning (about 3:00 am) the crew washes that deck and banging of equipment or moving of tables can be heard. Because this is a connecting stateroom, there is no privacy, even when having a normal conversation. You had hear EVERYTHING next door! You can also hear the activities on the Boardwalk, but that is very minimal. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes Balcony View - Looking out over boardwalk and other balcony staterooms Balcony Size? Normal Was wind a problem? - Not at all If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - Just the noise issues listed above Any other comments? - The bed is near the balcony on this cabin; I saw that in 14701 (the connecting cabin) the bed is near the bathroom (just FYI)
