Same thing happened to me. I had to do a bit of searching through older emails to find the airline reservation number to check-in the day before flying. Slight panic when I couldn’t initially find the info on My Account but short lived!

We’re just off Mariner and had a stop in Morocco. We did the Imperial Rabat tour and thought it was really good. Included an authentic Moroccan lunch which we really enjoyed. Agree that Casablanca is less than impressive.

Georgia Peaches - sorry for the delayed response. We made our deviation request for the nonstop flight through our TA.

We had a very good experience deviating our flight that leaves today for Barcelona for a cruise that starts on Sunday. We requested a nonstop from NY which was about $2500 pp more than the options with one connection. We only had to pay $500 pp up charge. We thought that was a great deal. Like others have said, we did our research beforehand. Makes the whole process easy.

We board Mariner a week from today and I’m not worried. I fully expect to have a wonderful cruise enjoying the hallmarks of a Regent cruise… amazing service, delicious food, and interesting ports and sea days. We were on Splendor earlier this year and I get it that Mariner isn’t going to be as shiny and doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles but that won’t reduce my enjoyment. Each ship has its own character which we enjoy.

Hi. We deviated for our upcoming Mariner cruise by paying a small up charge for a non-stop flight. Can someone remind me if we still get the transfer from airport to the included hotel, or is the transfer forfeited because we deviated.

We do the same as RELS….add our global entry number directly to the Airline site. Quick and easy.

Definitely a charter. We were supposed to be in that cruise but Regent cancelled our reservation in favor of the charter.

We were in the AKA Brickell in January. The consensus seemed to be NOT fabulous ( us included).

Can I ask what penthouse number that is?

We stayed a few nights in Hotel 1898 in 2012 at the end of our second Regent cruise. Loved it.

Lew, that is a really nice itinerary. We did a very similar one in our first Regent cruise.

That makes more sense. The letter from Regent referred to it as “partially chartered “ but I guess it’s fully chartered. We reached out to our TA, so we’ll see if she can retain our discounts on a future sailing.

I received an email today that my reservation on the Oct 2024 Mediterranean cruise on Splendor is cancelled because the ship has been partially chartered. We booked the cruise while onboard this past January. We were able to take advantage of the 2 category upgrade….paid for concierge and got a penthouse….plus the savings for booking onboard. Regent is offering a $250 per person FCC (concierge and below). We’re so disappointed. Without the upgrade, we wouldn’t be able to book a penthouse and I don’t know if we lose the other discount for booking onboard if we book a different cruise. We had postponed a 2019 Mediterranean cruise because of work obligations and we all know what happened in 2020. This was going to be our chance to sail the Mediterranean again with a perfect itinerary for us. I have certain windows of time when I can travel so no other appealing options for 2024. Fingers crossed some good options will be available for 2025. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Sorry for the negativity.

I wonder, is the $75 per person or per call?

We did a cooking class on Splendor in January and there was seating along the back wall. The chef suggested anyone who might need to take a break and sit for a while should take a station in the back row.

We are on a 2024 cruise Barcelona to Athens and plan in spending a few days in Athens at the end of the cruise. Would love to hear your thoughts on tours/ must see places after your cruise. Reviews / opinions are always so appreciated!

Thought I would give an update… requested an American non-stop flight. The online price was more than $2500 per person over the flights with one stop. Regent offered the flight for $500 per person plus the $175 custom air fee. Accepted! Thank you for all the insights. So valuable!
