  1. We were supposed to fly to Singapore the next day when our cruise was cancelled. We were booked in the Haven and have now a considerable amount of credit and the 25% discount. Unfortunately we have no idea when we will be able to book again. I'm afraid we will also be loosing our discount.
  2. kaprin02, I think you answered why I didn't get the extra points. First cruise canceled (Asia February) I received a full refund. Second cruise (Panama Canal March) we got a FCC. That rumor might just be correct. Thanks.
  3. I received points for only one of my two canceled cruises.
  4. We are booked on the Jade out of Hong Kong February 17. Prices have dropped a lot.
  5. I have a booked cruise for February 17. After watching the price drop $2100 per person we decided to call our travel agent. Since this is way after final payment we didn't hold much hope for an adjustment. Luckily we were offered an on board credit of $500 or a future cruise credit of $1090. We took the future cruise credit. Just putting this out there for those that have asked about adjustments after final payment.
  6. We are 98 days out and got the upgrade email today. We are cruising in an OS (H3), with bids available for the DOS and the Garden Villa.
  7. We are cruising on the Jade in February. We know the Jade serves breakfast and lunch in the specialty restaurants for Haven guests. Does anyone know if the menu is the Haven menu or something from the specialty restaurant? Also, I just read that the Haven has a daily lunch special. We have stayed in the Haven several times and never heard of this. Is this new? Maybe I need to learn the secret password for it.
  8. We are cruising in February on a cruise that disembarks in Singapore. We are staying in an owners suite. Part of the perks is three bottles of liquor. Can we not bring them home? We have the drink package and are not heavy drinkers.
  9. We bought and upgrade to the soda package for my 20 year old son. It allowed him to get beer and wine anywhere on the ship. I don't remember the name of the package. We purchased it at guest services when we signed the authorization form.
  10. We were on the Breakaway in June, family of four. We attended the M&G on the first sea day, NCL had a nice set up of coffee, tea and pastries. Several officers were available to answer questions and afterwards we had a cabin crawl. What impressed us the most was the officers offered to set up a second M&G at the end of the cruise to hear the pros and cons of our cruise days. Unfortunately, only three families showed up to this. NCL had the same nice set up as before and this meeting was announced at the initial M&G and reminders send to the cabins.
  11. We are considering an Asian cruise next year. I haven't found much information on them. Anyone have info or tips? Jade Haven, 11 days, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.
  12. Issue resolved. I think we will have a great Haven stay. Maybe we will enjoy three cheese ziti!
  13. Checked my reservation for Breakaway June 23. It shows this message when you go to the restaurant options. I guess the change took effect immediately. Booked May 26 and it didn't show then. We are in a Haven cabin that we payed full price for. We have many reasons to cruise Haven but will have to look elsewhere if we don't feel like we are getting the value as advertised
