  1. You must be mistaken cause every night on the news, I see hundreds of people crossing North into the US but not many headed south. 😇
  2. Once again the Canadian Federal government has no forethought on the repercussions of their actions and there is no plan for the reopening of the border from Canadian officials. Just read that the majority of Canadians want the border to remain closed for now so please just send money to support the tourism industry. How many folks would prefer an extra day in Alaska vs stopping in B.C. https://news.google.com/articles/CBMiZWh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LmNiYy5jYS9uZXdzL2NhbmFkYS9icml0aXNoLWNvbHVtYmlhL2NydWlzZS1zaGlwcy1ieXBhc3MtYi1jLXByb3Bvc2VkLWFsYXNrYS1sYXctMS41OTYxMTMy0gEgaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuY2JjLmNhL2Ft
  3. Would have been quicker to Google 'how to change user name on cruise critic' unless your new state doesn't have Google or its the state of confusion. 🤣
  4. I've done both multiple times but would suggest Rome as there's so much to see. Find a hotel near Roma Termini which is the main train station in Rome and you can walk to the Forum from there or hop on one of the tour busses. You take the train from the airport to Rome Termini and then take the train to Civitavecchia the day of the cruise. If I remember right they were both direct trains. From there you can walk to the port or take the short cab ride if you have too much luggage. Easy peasy. Just be brave and do some research.
  5. Princess/Carnival probably won't be far behind and yet shares jumped +5%. Investors must be excited cause it's only a 1 month delay. https://finance.yahoo.com/m/1d1d2f31-41cf-36dd-b857-57a9bfcce8af/norwegian-cruise-extends.html
  6. I have to side with the DIL at this point. Purchasing any Cruiseline shares is no better than playing the slots on a ship. Unless you can buy enough shares (100) to get the Shareholder benefits or they start paying a dividend again, which isn't happening, then you're getting nothing to sit on the shares. I think that the avid cruisers can only keep these shares artificially elevated for so long. The only good thing with these shares is the high daily swings (3-5%) to make some quick money, as long as you're on the right side of the swing. I guess I'm now qualified to write articles for Mo
  7. This so-called analyst is just guessing but based on the financial fundamentals they're overpriced but who knows what the real price should be. The good news is that there are some significant price swings between $18 - $23 so if you actively trade and don't get greedy there is money to be made.
  8. Spent 63 days last winter floating around the southern Caribbean on the same ship. Got off Mar. 13th just before the ship hit the fan. So far have 40 days booked on the Enchanted starting next January and we'll see if it goes. Just escaping winter.
  9. Notes From An Inexperienced Chili Taster Named FRANK, who was visiting Texas from the East Coast: “Recently I was honored to be selected as a judge at a chili cook-off. The original person called in sick at the last moment, and I happened to be standing there at the judge’s table asking directions to the beer wagon when the call came. I was assured by the other two judges (Native Texans) that the chili wouldn’t be all that spicy, and besides, they told me I could have free beer during the tasting, so I accepted. Here are the scorecards from the event: Chili # 1: Mike’s Maniac Mobster M
  10. A man walks into his backyard one morning and found a gorilla in a tree. He called the gorilla removal service, and soon a serviceman arrived with a stick, a Chihuahua, a pair of handcuff, and a shotgun. ”Now listen carefully,” he told the homeowner. “I’m going to climb the tree and poke the gorilla with the stick until he falls to the ground. The trained Chihuahua will then go right for his crouch, and when the gorilla instinctively crosses his hands in front to protect himself, you slap the handcuffs on” ”Got it,” the homeowner replied. “But what’s the shotgun for?” ”If I
  11. I have a 20 day booked which is really B2B 10 day cruises. Will they reset my 250 minutes (Platinum level) of allotted wifi after 10 days or is the 250 minutes for the 20 days. If they restock the mini bar after 10 days I'm assuming they'll reset my internet minutes but I'm just looking for confirmation.
  12. I would simply book B2B on the Enchanted. ( oh wait, I've already done that). Itinerary is different but you're still in the Southern Caribbean where you can count on the January weather.

  14. Here's some general information. Carnival appears to be in the best shape of the big three. According to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence, Carnival had $8.2 billion in cash at the end of August. It has since raised $8.1 billion more through a combination of stock and debt offerings. Thus, even after four months of burning cash at the rate of $530 million a month, Carnival probably has on the order of $14.2 billion available to it, and is well positioned to survive for another two years at least, even absent any new revenue coming in.
