  1. Wanted to post an update. Someone from the online TA called me back today. I explained I had not received an email from Royal regarding the FCC. I confirmed that I have checked Spam and Trash email, as well as Inbox and no email received. She told me she would call Royal and email me the information. She emailed what appears to be 2 FCC numbers, one for me and one for SO. We will be sailing together again obviously. So now I'm confused as to how the FCC actually works. Is it per person or per booking? His is showing $400 and change and mine is showing $1,300 and change. So if I find a cruise f
  2. Thank you all for your response and advice. I went back and called the online TA number again and now realize their message states one to five business days for a response. I've used them for years and really only use them for the perks they offer on top of what Royal offers. I'm a no frills, no fuss client. I know the date, cabin, price, and perks before I book on their website. I've only had to reach out one time to them by phone to have a second cabin reservation linked to my reservation. I will just relax and wait for them to get back to me.
  3. I had a cruise that was paid in full and cancelled due to the epidemic. Royal's website states that if I want a Future Cruise Credit, there is nothing I need to do and a FCC will be emailed on July 31st. I didn't receive it by email (checked spam, of course).Wondering if anyone else didn't get theirs and if this is just a slight delay? I called my online TA and there is a 5 day wait for a return call after leaving a message. I have a cruise date and specific cabin I am looking at, but want to use the FCC on it. Regretting not doing lift and shift, but I didn't have a specific cruise in mind wh
  4. My sister-in-law is looking at taking her granddaughter on a cruise with us. She has custody of the granddaughter. Has anyone been in this situation and knows what documentation is needed? She has her custody / court papers, but somehow, I'm thinking she may need something else. I could be wrong (it happens).
  5. I received an email from RCL showing great deals for my upcoming cruise. One of the deals shows the Unlimited Dining Package at 55% off, but when I try to buy it, the price shows $154 per person, $308 total. Does that seem right that at 55% off, it would be that much. I think I looked at this package for previous cruises and it was the same price as they show is the sale price.
  6. I'm glad you were able to get it. It probably disappeared when I was looking at it. You're obligated to throw a party on that big balcony now. We had 46 people on it one time, and still had room to move around.
  7. Well, after all that, I decided to keep our hump cabin on deck 6. We got an amazing price when we booked with TA perks, which we would have gotten a better price if we changed cabins, but would lose the TA perks. Also, the convenience of the hump beats walking the Green Mile to the back of the ship. If any aft enthusiasts are interested, 7408 and 9704 are available on Liberty of the Seas 9/6 sailing.
  8. Thank you all for the replies. We don't have a problem paying the 3rd person rate as it is not that much. And that would be fair to Royal, I guess. I was concerned how the whole "no-show" would work. There are still plenty of 2 person balconies, so I don't think they would open a 3 person for 2 people, even if it is a more desirable location.
  9. Has anyone ever used a fictitious 3rd person on your booking to get the cabin you wanted? If so, did you cancel that person prior to the cruise or just show up and check in without the "person"? Insurance IS NOT involved, so there won't be any insurance fraud, but wondering how the 3rd person not showing up would affect gratuities, etc. Also, before anyone starts flaming me for even asking such a question, Royal is the one that changed their policy to only allowing certain number of passengers in the most sought after cabins.
