  1. Here is a video that walks through installing and checking in on the Virgin Voyages Sailor App. https://youtu.be/YNiWRd1Y2Zo
  2. I created a short video that I hope helps those new to Celebrity
  3. We did the carriage ride, and we took a bus to and from Stanley Park. The busses are accessible for wheelchair users, and I highly recommend it. Here is a short look at the ride.
  4. We took the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff, and we loved the trip. The before or after question would depend on your cruise. My suggestion would be to fly to Calgary, and transfer to Banff, and spend two or more days there. Banff is incredible place to visit, then take the train to Vancouver and spend a couple of days there because that is another destination with a lot to see and do, then a northbound cruise flying home from Anchorage. Northbound cruises are more likely to visit Glacier Bay. The first picture was taken in the park in downtown Banf along the Bow River. He was about 15 feet from me. The second picture was at Lake Louise, the day was a little rainy, but a beautiful spot.
  5. If you are ever in Vancouver, you should visit Stanley Park. We took this horse-drawn tour, and they have an #accessible carriage if you reserve in advance. https://youtu.be/gqGhEFhGXX0
  6. Whether I get a service free or not, it does not affect what I post, and the content is designed to help those that see the videos.

  9. At times I get excursions provided by a vendor, but that is the exception rather than the rule.
  10. We will be having a special guest on our weekly live show. Sunday 9.18.22, Zachary Samuel from Pure Grenada will join us to talk about accessibility on Grenada, and the things that are there to see and do either on a port call, or if you stay for a while. This is a live show, so you will be able to ask questions and join the conversation. We will be streaming live on YouTube with a special guest. Zachary Samuel from @puregrenada will be joining us to discuss accessibility and so much more about Grenada.
  11. We are on the Rhapsody of the Seas sailing from Barbados. I will have the privilege of interviewing on our live show some of the representatives from the ports we are visiting and from Barbados as well. We will also be sharing information while we are live onboard the ship. To start with, we are planning a 5-night stay pre-cruise stay at The Club, Barbados Resort and Spa, which is an all-inclusive adults-only resort. We are looking forward to having time to explore the island rather than just pass through it. For those that don't know us, my wife, Cheryl uses a wheelchair when we travel, or a mobility scooter. We will be flying with a Whill Ci from Scootaround, and this will our first trip flying with a scooter. We will be having a special guest on our weekly live show. 12. Here is a video that walks you through the process.
  13. This is ours. This is a tour I highly recommend for anyone taking a cruise to Alaska. You couldn't ask for better accessibility in a wheelchair or scooter. We took the Bering Sea Crab Fishermen's Tour in Ketchikan, Alaska when we visited on the Radiance of the Seas. Cheryl Edmonds didn't think she would like it, but she loved it. This video shows the accessibility. #disabled #disability #accessible #accessibility #accessibletravel #like #video

  18. About 40% of capacity, think your own private yacht.
  19. On Sunday we have a special guest from Virgin Voyages for our show. You will get to ask questions and learn about what makes Virgin Voyages different from your typical cruise line. 20. We are onboard now, and I will say that the experience has been different in a good way from what we expected. We are in our late 60's and were not sure this was a good fit, and we are having a great time. I will be glad to answer questions. We will also try to eat at all 20 restaurants and provide reviews. We will be doing videos of cabin types and ship tour videos as well.
  21. We will be glad to answer questions. I am a couple of days behind in posting, we have been so busy on this trip onshore, that we come back eat and go to bed.
  22. We flew into Anchorage and then used the Anchorage Cruise Transfer bus service. We had taken the train before, and so we chose the bus this time. They have very nice coaches, and our driver was great. The interesting thing is that both ways are great ways to travel to Seward. If you have the time and the stamina, the bus offers r a tour that includes the wildlife preserve near Girdwood. Since they take two different routes from about Girdwood, you get a very different experience. Our bus was only about 2.5 hours vs the train is about 5 hours. This is the Turnagain Arm.
