  1. Hi I'm probably being a bit dumb, but if we cancel our upcoming June cruise and have already paid in full do we receive our money back? Or is the money held by Princess to be used against a future trip? I've read and re read the new policy details but I think I'm confusing myself!!!!
  2. Can anyone tell me if they have stayed in (or close) to this cabin. Starting to panic that being right next to the panoramic lifts may be really noisy!!
  3. I believe we can bring 1 bottle per person when we board, but I am unsure as to the rules when/where we can drink it. I thought I read that you can open one bottle anywhere onboard without paying corkage???
  4. We have sailed on other cruise lines but never with Princess. We are doing the British Isles cruise in June 2020. Can you tell me how the IC works? If I order a Latte and a cake the latte has a cost and the cake no charge? Is that correct?
  5. Looking for help from you lovely people. Considering coming down the night before also.
  6. We are sailing for the 1st time with Princess June 2020, our TA asked us what dining we wanted. We opted for 7.15 sitting but are now wondering if this would be too late for the theatre shows. Whether freedom dining would suit us better?
  7. Hi we have sailed with various lines but never with princess. Can you help me with an idea of a bottle of nz marlborough sauvignon blanc wine? G & T? Just booked this morning (eek) on Regal princess for June 2020 already very excited!!
  8. Hi everyone. we are looking at cruising next May on Oceana and prefer midship outside cabins. Anyone advise on good/best location (or indeed ones to avoid - we were once below the pool on a previous cruise and swore never again!)
  9. thanks for that really useful list. As your lovely wife is 'particular' - your words ha ha, does she like/use the toiletries provided?
  10. Hi apologies if this has been answered previously, but hoping someone who has been on QV recently can answer my question. What is provided in a Britannia category cabin in terms of shampoo conditioner etc? Any cotton buds? Also, would appreciate a ladies view of the hairdryer. I always take my own as my experience on other lines is not a good one. Hairdryers are usually slow and cumbersome to use.
  11. Hi the Flaam railway is a good trip but definitely do it yourself. We stepped off the ship around 10 a.m. went to the railway ticket office and got tickets for the trip at around 1p.m.. Much much cheaper than the ship's offering.
  12. is there somewhere to get a latte on QV other than QG?
  13. Hi we have changed our plans and are now looking to stay somewhere that offers parking and transfer to the docks. so with that in mind do your recommendations still stand or is there somewhere better/
  14. OOh yes, good point! We will be parking at the terminal but this would give an easy start to our holiday and take the stress out of driving down from Yorkshire on cruise day, worrying about the traffic the whole time!!
  15. Hi we are considering this option prior to our cruise on QV in June. Does anyone have any recommendations?
