  1. Hi Catherine, We are from Cork, and I am originally from Dublin, and counting down to our cruise in Celebrity Equinox in exactly 8 weeks and 3 days!! We are doing almost the exact same ports as you did, and really find your review and photos so interesting. As we were in Rome for 8 days earlier this year, we are also interested in spending that port day in and around Civitivecchia. We re thinking of hiring a car in Livorno to go to Lucca, but your review of Cinque Terres makes me want to go there! Sent from my iPad using Forums
  2. Hi all, We have a free classic alcohol package with 123GO, but would anyone know if I need to upgrade to Premium onboard to get Kir Royale, either with champagne or prosecco? Bubbles of some kind required!!

    Rome Cabs vs. Rome Cab

We used Romecabs in May on the advice of cruisecritic members. It was a fabulous service, from airport to city centre hotel and then back to airport for our Celebrity transfer to Civitavecchia. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport, and again at our hotel on the morning of departure, immaculately dressed and extremely professional. We will definitely use Stephano and his company on our next trip to Rome.
  4. We travelled on the Equinox last week to Kusadasi, and got the local bus to Ephesus for 5 turkish lira each! That is less than 2 euro each. There is a Tourist office at the port, and they gave us directions to the local bus stop, which was 10 mins walk away. The bus dropped us off 10 mins walk from the Ephesus site. Its a great cheap way to see this wonderful site, especially if you dont mind walking and if its not too hot. A lot of other people had the same idea as us. You can get a guide too at the site if you like.

?? aquavs concierge vs reg verandah-Equinox

Just back from cruise on Equinox in AQ. loved it, especially Blu. Would book again, without hesitation!
  6. Noise from gym did not wake us, but we were aware of it any time in cabin during day. However very convenient for staircase to gym, and very convenient for relaxation room and persian gardens.

Hi gerryincork. Check the sticky at top of forum for all cabin information. It has been very helpful for us as we plan our 1st cruise on Equinox in May. From ollieowl, also in Cork!

Help! Our AQ cabin is under the threadmills!

Thanks travlindoc. It's hard to see from deck plans if 1509 is under the aerobics area or not. If it is, it might be equally noisy. I really appreciate all your replies and I have got so much information, or as my husband says, too much information! from this board.

Help! Our AQ cabin is under the threadmills!

Unfortunately all the cabins under the hairdresser seem to be taken. There are a few AQ 1643, 1644,1645 but all are under the overhang. As we live in Ireland this 2 weeks on our Eastern Med cruise may be the only sun we will see in the summer! Those of you who have visited Ireland will know that we are not known for our sunny summers!!
