What time did you get to the port and what time did they begin boarding?

We are a group of 4 going from hotel in Dania Beach to the port of Miami and then from Port to FLL. My quote for private transfer was $60 each way. I had a typo, it is www.gettransfer.com

Has anyone ever used the gettransfers.com website to book transportation in FLL or MIA? Their rates seem very good, but want to make sure they are dependable in Florida.

We had a similar situation on a Carnival cruise about 9 years ago. The medical staff was excellent and saved my husband's life, also. Airlifted back to the US from Martinique after a 9 day hospitalization there. We did not have trip insurance so that was the painful part, lol. We never travel without it now.
