  1. Asked about the resumption of cruise, Del Rio stated that while the final two months of 2020 could see a limited return to operations, NCLH does not expect the majority of its fleet to re-enter service until the second quarter of 2021. The restart of the entire fleet would take approximately six months once the green-light is given So I read it that they are hoping to start at end of 2020 and aim to be up and running by end of quarter 2, 2021. That’s the six months.
  2. Looks like things will be starting up in Europe before America which isn’t surprising. Some time away as yet. https://www.maritime-executive.com/article/cruise-ships-depart-us-ports-for-european-lay-up
  3. Americans usually just want to lie on a beach and Aruba is good for that. I'm not a beach person so usually just walk along the front to the right past the hotel and then return through town.
  4. I think Jean cancelled the cruise herself as she was unwilling to cruise at the moment as it is so uncertain.
  5. See last entry post 4338. Waiting 122 days. Their posts are as long as P&O and delays in refunds. https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2741665-refund-status-for-canceled-cruises-retitled-after-merges/page/174/?tab=comments#comment-60191947
  6. We sailed on her when she was Regal Princess to Alaska in 2005. Lovely ship.
  7. I think it will only show when you get to the paymeny page. https://www.pocruises.com/travel-health-advisories/future-cruise-credit
  8. Thank you for your consideration.
  9. I still do not want this near my food. At other smoking areas maybe but there should be no smoking or vaping at the the outside dining area.
  10. So what do you think about vaping in the outside dining area.
  11. If this is true the outside dining area will have smokers where the food is. Not nice.
  12. Beyond the sea, Bobby Darin. Just love it. Somewhere beyond the sea Somewhere waiting for me My lover stands on golden sands And watches the ships that go sailin'
  13. I love the old town in Vigo and all the sculptures, especially Jules Verne. It has some nice park walking areas between streets. We do not get off the ship in Gibraltar.

  15. It can be free if you have inclusive minutes on your landline.
  16. Or you have a balcony cabin on C deck on Azura and an inside opposite. Then you have two bathrooms and share the extra large balcony.
  17. For four you need the bigger cabin that the op is going for. Azura balcony bigger than Britannia.
  18. You will also have a much larger balcony on Azura which will be much better for your family.
  19. I dislike the long street aspect of RC ships. They are always so crowded and noisy.
  20. I cancelled J003 Arcadia direct with P&O on 29 February and was confirmed 50% refund. It was going to change to 40% the next day. I was apprehensive of going on the cruise. When my cc account arrived on 31 March it only showed 40% so I rang and a lady working from home confirmed with her superior that the computer did not recognise the leap year date and it had gone through on 1 March. She would arrange the difference an mark it urgent. It is on my account today processed on the 5 May. I know this a not quite the same as your later cancelled cruises but it shows someone is working at refun
