If doing back to back cruises and you do not use up all your available sm
excursion dollars on the first cruise Can you transfer them to the next one? I am guessing probably not.

Ship’s personnel will arrange the move. Only complication is if the port is Miami
Nope. Port is London

I am doing two back to back cruises next May. Two separate bookings with second booking a guarantee. Will I be able to have Vista customer service hold my luggage while I do an excursion on my check on day for my guarantee or will I have to spend that first day going through all the check in procedures for a second time? Thanks in advance. I have never done a back to back before much less one complicated by having a guarantee. I am still a year out and am hoping to rectify this situation

We always book them 365 days out. We call Oceania direct. The website has too many problems in this area.
If you call can you do it right after midnight EST or do you have to wait for business hours? I am guessing the latter.

Have many of you booked your excursions this far ahead? Do they sell out that quickly? If you do book a year out do you call first thing in the AM? Thanks for any input on what has worked best for you. I will be a newbie on Oceania in May 2025. Other cruise lines I have been on handle their excursion bookings in different ways.

What deck and category? I have a B4 or better guarantee for May 2025 British Isles cruise. Thanks in advance

If you change from one shore excursion to another can you use the simply more credit you used to book the original excursion? Thanks

Weather is always variable and the Atlantic is a huge ocean, so knowing the ports will help in providing an educated guess.
Mostly interested when we are out to sea. My guess is that it is still pretty chilly then. Our itinerary goes from Miami-Bermuda and across to Azores and then coastal Portugal

Depends on when you go. We did a TA in March of last year to Barcelona and it was good for about 3 days.
It would be early May. Thanks

Will it likely be warm enough to sit on the pool deck or it usually still too chilly? The route is Miami to Portugal

You should have no problem, in due course, in booking your "free/included" excursions online. The only issue we found is that the excursions we wanted took us a few pounds over the excursion credit. There doesnt appear to be an online method of making a card payment for this additional, so we had to phone Oceania.
Thanks. We will probably be doing quite a few excursions over the course of 33 days so I imagine we will be above our credits😲

Thanks for all the great advice.

And It pays to do the maths if you are doing multiple excursions. For us it physically cost less to book 6 excursions than to book 4 . Two of the 4 I wanted to book were quite expensive. 6 was the minimum set to get the discount. . I added 2 much less expensive excursions which bought the price up by $269; but then 25% was deducted from all of them bringing the total down by a lot more than the extra2 excursions. Then the credit was applied to that balance after the discount had been applied.
When and where do you get the information regarding the minimum to get the discount. I did not see anything on my original invoice. Could it be because we are still a long way off -May 2025- and can’t even book excursions for two more months. First time Oceania cruiser.

I booked with an Oceania rep who then transferred my reservation to my usual TA. She offered me a 10 percent discount and additional onboard credits. Best of both worlds.

I will be traveling solo but joining friends who will be on the same cruise. I have booked in a lower category and thus not entitled to as many speciality dining reservations as they are getting .Do I have to use up one if my allotments to join them or can they include me in their bookings? Thanks in advance

We are planning on doing plenty of excursions on our upcoming 2025 33 day cruise. Most will probably be book with Oceania. Thanks for helping us navigate through the somewhat confusing terminology

Oh yes. On some cruises twice a day. Sort of a blood sport...very competitive in the quest for Big O points which are cashed in for Oceania logo cheap cheap merchandise. 🤔

I enjoyed it on my recent Viking cruise. Thanks

Does this mean you cannot book excursions for your second cruise of the back to back a year ahead as you are doing with the first? Since it is a separate booking number and considered an entity unto itself this doesn’t seem to make sense if I am understanding this correctly
