  3. My brother was supposed to be on the Breeze last Sunday. He spent most of the week in Galveston. They headed back to Dallas on Wednesday. Yesterday they received a call from Carnival offering them a free cruise on the Freedom this weekend. They are headed back to Galveston today. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. By brother is in Galveston right now & has confirmed so far the parking lots have not flooded. Some of the parking lots have people staying there 24 hours a day & they have pumps ready to pump out the lots. My brother also told me that wreckers were used to move a few cars that parked in low lying areas to keep water from getting in them. It appears the parking lots are doing all they can to keep cars from flooding. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  5. The Bayport cruise terminal no longer exist. They sold the building a few months ago. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  6. Yes it has been a trying time for all of us experiencing all of the flooding. I work for an Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy clinic with 12 locations in Houston & surrounding cities. We have patients with emergencies that we can not help. Several hospitals have been evacuated so it is hard for us to tell them where to go. Several of our doctors have had their houses flooded & lost everything. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. It looks like Galveston is getting hammered now. https://www.facebook.com/aprillmay/posts/10212023934745701 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  8. As of 8 minutes ago the Louisiana Cajun Navy is still performing rescues in Houston & surrounding cities. You can follow them on Facebook to get accurate information. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  9. I did remove the picture. I was told by several people it was a real picture. Sorry I posted it. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  10. Where do you live? We live close to the Brazos & have been evacuated. We are at our daughters house in Richmond & are going to try & check on our house tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  11. Please, if you are not being affected by hurricane Harvey like we are do not spread rumors. There have been no shooting of rescue workers. Everyone is helping each other like we have never seem before. Our neighborhood is under mandatory evacuation so we went to our daughters house. If her house floods at least we are with her & our 3 grandchildren. The pictures below are real pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  12. We live in Sugar Land Texas which is about 12 miles south of Houston. We have had about 22 inches rain but our house is not flooded. We live close to the Brazos River so we are keeping an eye on it. Stay safe. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. I see you are in Louisiana, have y'all had any rain? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. He said all parking lots are dry. Galveston has not has as much rain as Houston & other surrounding cities have had so far. We don't know what the future holds with the rain though. I will keep you updated if I hear anything different. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  15. For anyone who's car is parked in Galveston, my brother went to the parking lots & there is no water. The owner of some of the lots has been sleeping there & has pumps ready if they need to keep water out of the lots. That is a dedicated business owner. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
