  1. It seems that the Discovery Princess is sending AIS data now for the first time from Fincantieri.
  2. E620 DW Deluxe Balcony (Obstructed) Category DV, DW, DZ have obstructed views due to solid steel railings or tops of lifeboats. When upper berth or sofa bed is used it will block balcony.

  4. The full suites have a glass door instead of a curtain.
  5. I have to mention the Cubana Sandwich with Spicy Cilantro Mayonnaise from the International Cafe ☺️ It looks unspectacular, but it's full of flavour.
  6. The Majestic at 21+ knots heading back 😁 . Is the ship late? What is the planned ETA?
  7. Hot Dog, Trident Grill, Diamond Princess "Salty Dog", Salty Dog Grill, Emerald Princess
  8. Don't you see it, just left of the EU plug? It's both, like on any Princess ship. 😊
  9. GEO, MEO, and LEO - How orbital altitude impacts network performance in satellite data services
  10. https://www.princess.com/webcam/majestic_bridge.jpg Seems offline since 22nd...
  11. Yes, they had in the past. There was a limited time 10% discount in 2016 on all Crown Princess South America excursions for example. Saved me a lot of money.
  12. 1 am then, but i will watch Majestic departure live. Party on. 😎
  13. I'll sign that. But rocks - never frozen. BTW I actually liked the old glass more than their new glass (which is a classic margarita glass). New glass is hard to move without sipping around ... 😄 Edit: yes I know it's not glass but plastic. Anyway.
  14. The Voyage of the Glaciers Southbound formal nights are normally: 1. Yakutat Bay (Hubbard Glacier) 2. Juneau
  15. Alfredo’s Pizzeria on Sapphire Princess Pizza Tarantina (Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Mussels, Bay Shrimp, Roasted Garlic, Capers, Basil, Oregano) It was really tasty.
  16. I'm pretty sure it will be southern Africa. Which could mean: Cape Town, Durban & Port Elizabeth for South Africa, Walvis Bay & Luderitz for Namibia, and perhaps even Mauritius & Reunion as well. At the end of the month we will know more.
  17. Princess Cruises ships currently out of service: Diamond Princess: Tokyo (cleaning / on hold) Sapphire Princess: Singapore (non-scheduled dry dock) Majestic Princess: Singapore (scheduled dry dock) Grand Princess: Oakland (deboarding / cleaning / on hold) Royal Princess: San Pedro (on hold) Regal Princess: on its way to Freeport (without Pax) Caribbean Princess: no sail order from CDC, returning to PEF Am I missing something?
  18. In Scotland it will be tasty Haggis, of course. Eat local. 😁
  19. Correct. The Crown Grill menu calls it Maine Lobster Tail. And it had to be ordered 1 day in advance on the Diamond for the MDR. On the Emerald, no pre-order was required.
  20. I know what you mean. Had this before, too. But on the Emerald last time, it was a nice risotto. Of course not. 😄 And there is still the Beef Wellington on the 2nd formal night. But this one is also hit or miss.
  21. On my last cruise with 3 formal nights (15 day Panama Canal ocean to ocean on the Emerald), there was broiled lobster tail on the 2nd and 3rd formal night. However, this isn't coldwater lobster. It has not much taste of its own. 2nd formal night: Broiled lobster tail Caribbean style. 3rd formal night: Broiled lobster tail with risotto. This is the standard Princess MDR lobster dish now. The risotto was not bad this time. But the whole dish just looks awful now. Some time ago, this MDR dish came also with king prawn, which usually was much more tasty than the lobster tail itself. If you want better stuff, you need the upgrade (19 USD surcharge): Broiled cold water lobster tail from Crown Grill in the MDR (on Diamond Princess). This one tastes much better.
