  1. I believe that only Royal and Celebrity sail out of Bayonne. NCL sails out of Manhattan and the QM2 is probably Manhattan as well or possibly Brooklyn.
  2. Following as usual. Will be doing a review very soon of our recent B2B on the Discovery Princess. Enjoy your "value" week on the Oasis.
  3. Luckily then you still have double digit choices of his designed ships still in the fleet while those that prefer the style of the Dream Class, Vista Class and Excel Class can enjoy the more modern contemporary or non Pepto Bismol looking schemes of the most recent 7 builds in the fleet.
  4. Just placed an order on Thursday for eCards, but there were limits attached. Could only buy two 1000 cards and three 500 cards. The email confirmation was sent immediately with the eCards attached.
  5. No problem. If you're getting Cheers, you need to buy it by Saturday because of the price increase on Sunday of 8.00 pp per day plus 18% gratuity.
  6. I would vote for neither. The Havana area is better on the Vista Class ships and the spa is better on the Dream Class ships. Book a deluxe inside cabin which gives you more space and a couch and then use the excess money saved towards excursions or Cheers.
  7. After an Alaskan excursion, there are many coffee drinks with alcohol that you could consume to warm up.
  8. Farcus's mind and horizons were expanded by whatever drugs he was taking when he came up with some of his over the top designs.
  9. The purpose of the Excel Class ships is to differentiate itself from the rest of the current Carnival fleet and make the ship a little more similar to what the latest offerings are currently available from their primary competition from RCI, NCL and MSC. The new Golden Jubilee bar area on the Celebration gives a nod to Farcus and the impact he had with carnival back in the day. There is no reason to come out with a brand new state of the art ship that looks like one of his outdated designs. It's time for Carnival and their new younger CEO to move forward, not backward.
  10. Will be on MSC for the first time in January on the Seaside, staying in an inside YC cabin. We received 400.00 in OBC from MSC since we booked it back in March of 2015. Since we will probably only use a portion of it on gratuities and minor purchases, I was wondering how to turn the 150.00 or so left over into cash. Is there a way to do it through the casino? Thanks for your help.
