  1. There is a house near us that hung tiny skeletons on a tree for Halloween, and they have been dressing them in little outfits as you described for various holidays ever since. They are definitely cuter than those giant skeletons, which so many people and businesses have. I don't quite get the attraction.
  2. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Hang in there, it will get better with time, based solely on my friend’s experience with the same injury.
  3. I'm glad Doug's health scare is behind you. It's nice you've been able to enjoy time at your lake house, especially since you're doing a kitchen remodel. I bet it looks great!
  4. Dani, I'm happy to see that you were able to enjoy time with friends. Hopefully that can become a regular thing soon. Wishing you all the best.
  5. Has anyone had experience with Platelet Rich Plasma treatment for arthritic knee pain? My neighbor has gotten a couple of treatments and feels it is helping. He's trying to avoid/postpone TKR surgery (and so am I). I don't believe it's covered by insurance.
  6. This was my view today, as Andy and I went to Virginia Beach for lunch. We only live 30 minutes from there but rarely go. It was in the 90s at home but windy and low 80s at the beach. It was a lovely day.
  7. So very sorry to hear about your fall. The same thing happened to a friend of mine. She said she could barely walk. I hope your pt person can help you get some relief.
  8. I'm glad to hear you are doing so well. Stairs and inclining terrain are the two things that are leading me to consider TKR. Sounds like I'll have to deal with those for a while after surgery too, but hopefully not for too long. Let us know how you do on your cruise next month.
  9. I had to search back to see that you mentioned you had TKR surgery. I'm considering the same. My concern is timing between trips we have planned. In your situation, is 12 weeks enough time to get recovered sufficiently to cruise? I know everyone's experience is different so I can't bank on yours, but I thought I'd ask. Anyone else is welcome to chime in (@Sea Dog).
  10. That looks like a very nice basement. I hope you get your water intrusion issue resolved so it doesn’t reoccur.
  11. Well, we used to live in CT and we have family there close to the RI border, but I knew who you were asking. Sometimes I just can't help myself wanting to look stuff up. I find it amazing that we can now ask the computer to tell us what a picture is. I love it.
