  1. We got off the Edge yesterday 3/8. No issues at all during the week. Constant cleaning going on - very evident in all the public rooms,. On embarkation we were asked questions about our travel history, any health issues. We were told Saturday at Capt Kate's Q&A that additional protocols were being put in place for those passengers boarding 3/8.
  2. Just off the Edge yesterday 3/8. Show times were 7:30 and 9:30pm. We attended all 7:30 shows and got there at 7pm to get a good seat. Theater was full by 7:30 with late comers looking for seats.
  3. Thanks for a great review, especially your food and specialty restaurant comments. We are on the Edge for the first time next month. Can't wait to go after reading about your experience.
  4. So sorry to hear this happened to you, For 15+ years we have dealt with only one Jeweler in St Thomas. In fact, we were there last week. US appraisals have always come out higher than what we paid and US jeweler told me we had very good quality stones.
  5. Thanks for the great review. We will be on the Edge for the first time in March. We don't have the set dining time and I appreciated the your thoughts on the various specialty restaurants which we are going to try.
  6. We just got off Adventure this morning and embarkation and disembarkation was one of the easiest we've ever done. It was a great cruise, enjoy!
  7. Just off the Adventure of the Seas this morning. Didn't see any signs for Global Entry. Started asking the port personnel who were moving us along toward customs. Told us when we got to the actual customs line to let Port Person there know we had Global Entry. They opened a new line for us and hubby and I went right through. No waiting in the very long lines. We were off the ship and thru customs at 7:30, eating breakfast at 8am. We have used Global Entry coming back from Europe in Atlanta and Orlando - very happy they have it at Port Everglades.
  8. Thanks for the info. We just booked March 1st sailing. This will be only our 2nd Celebrity cruise, first on the Edge. We are 3 couples all booked into concierge infinite verandah rooms. We always book a regular balcony so it will be interesting to see how this works out.
  9. Weather Channel reporting power is out on entire island.
  10. We were on Explorer of the Seas 14 night Med cruise in Sept/Oct. We were on deck 12 in cabins 1880 & 1882 aft. These are 2 of the 7 cabins that were added in 2015 past the Spa. . Lots of storage space - we didn't need to use it all. Close to elevators. Very quiet area. Really nice balcony rooms. Definitely want these rooms again if we are on Explorer. Only drawback: going into Le Havre & Southampton early morning in dense fog ship's horn over us definitely got us up early.
  11. We did our first Med cruise Sept/Oct. on a 14 night Explorer of the Seas out of Southampton. Yes it is port intensive, we did an excursion in every port. We came back tired - that said we had a fantastic time - so much so that we are going in June on a Greek Isles cruise - celebrating an anniversary and a special birthday. We are going to pace ourselves better on this cruise and do some shorter excursions. Crew was outstanding on this cruise. Even a change in itinerary due to a hurricane didn't bother us. Instead of Lisbon we got an overnight in Le Harve and spent time in Paris and Rouen.
  12. Yes the RCI bus we were on Oct 5 Southampton to Heathrow did have a restroom
  13. On October 5th we disembarked the Explorer of the Seas in Southampton. Our Royal Carribean transfer (bus) left at 8am for Heathrow. Got to the airport in about 2 1/2 hours. Traffic not bad for a Saturday morning. Lines were long to check luggage and go through security. We had time for breakfast at the airport - our flight back to the US was at 1:30pm.
  14. We've been on Adventure of the Seas twice out of San Juan some years ago. We are on the 1/18/20 sailing out of Ft Lauderdale and will be following your review. Interested in knowing your experience on Adventure.
