  1. No. The Concierge Lounge = Suites Lounge. The Crown Lounge = Diamond Lounge. 2 completely separate spaces with controlled access.
  2. The Crown Lounge (formerly the Diamond Lounge) is only for Diamond and above.
  3. If there’s one recurring complaint I have heard about Icon, it is the lack of storage space. It seems to affect every cabin category.
  4. It depends on how good a "stuffer" you are ! 😇 The bag WILL hold a couple of days worth of clothes as long as you don't have 5 pairs of jeans or other bulky items. I roll my clothes and stuff the items waaay down inside the corners, first. You can actually get a lot in there, but you have to be careful. The bags are paper (they used to use plastic but I think they've gotten rid of those, now). Another trick is, don't worry about sealing the bag or even trying to close the bag. Stuff as much as you can get into it to the very tippy top and just leave the top "gaping". I have never lost a single item and we do it this way every time.
  5. 😵 What is it about Icon that causes this mysterious situation so often ?
  6. No. Neither the onboard DBP nor the C&A drink vouchers are going to work at the Royal Beach Club in Nassau
  7. Thanks. I couldn't figure out how to find the prices !
  8. Correct...also [casino] Maters do not get the complimentary wine and beer unless they're staying in a qualified suite.
  9. We are on a SY cruise in Feb that actually hits all 3 of them.
  10. We are on a 6 night Oasis cruise in Feb that goes to Nassau but not PDCC
  11. It appears that the answer here is "no"...but nobody knows for sure, yet. I don't see anything to indicate that the Nassau Beach Club (or whatever it's called) will have any kind of sit-down dining. It appears to all be kiosk/grill type venues but nobody knows yet !
  12. 150 used to be a partnership between Royal and Michael Schwartz...and IMO was a much better restaurant then, than it is now. I loved the breads and salts from around the world. That partnership is now defunct and, as you mentioned, it is a "regular" restaurant now. If you like exotic meats, you would probably enjoy 150. It is definitely the most "upscale" of the specialty restaurants on the Oasis class ships. ..but if you're like me and don't particularly enjoy veal, venison, duck then it's probably one to skip. The "signature" dish at 150 (now) is the tenderloin for 2 but I've been very disappointed both times I've tried that. It was extremely tough both times. We will still go there from time-to-time when we have the UDP just to add some variety to our restaurant lineup but it is our next-to-last choice, only slightly ahead of Wonderland, which we loathe and NEVER choose.
  13. I think so too. I've always been perplexed as to why they don't overtly include lunches or BOGO. The specialties are usually far less busy for lunch than they are for dinner,
  14. Doesn’t sound like there will be any upscale dining. They keep mentioning “grills”…
  15. Interesting that you mention this...I was thinking the same thing !
  16. Back in the last century, when I was a young'un, mothers used to have "exposure" parties with their children. They would bring their young children to play with other children who had measles (3 day measles), chicken pox, etc., so that they would contract the virus and garner natural immunity. It worked wonderfully, and most of us carried natural immunity for a lifetime. Not so much anymore. It's a shame. Natural immunity is BEST.
  17. We have cruised out of Tampa MANY times and they have always allowed us inside very early...as others have mentioned, as soon as the doors open. There is sometimes a [very] short delay once you get inside (they line you up into queues prior to the security scans) but overall, I feel like Tampa allows guests inside sooner than any other FL port. I also feel that the terminal crew at Tampa are the friendliest of all of the Tampa port crews. I absolutely love sailing out of Tampa !
  18. No, this is not normal, in my experience. It must be some kind of computer glitch. I have always been able to make reservations for night #1 as long as the reservation system is "open" for your sailing....IOW, if you can make reservations for other nights, you should be able to make reservations for night #1.
  19. This ! The cost-per-day is probably higher than for a 7 night cruise, but the overall cost looks attractive. Few are considering that they're actually paying more for less. Shrinkflation at its best.
  20. I agree about the location. UGH
